Audit from the week before: • Policy is Not Law!!! S...
I can't stress to my viewers enough how wrong this is. They now know that the policy is not written down and their argument about safety holds absolutely zero bearing. The city attorney is a joke at best. This is about control and ignorance of the law. I implore you to share this video with as many as possible. I will be revisiting again and I'm not going to be anywhere near as polite about it. They are putting public notices in an area that the general public can not reach unless they give up rights. I will be reporting them to the Missouri Attorney General's office later this week.

Why make a sign-in policy at all? Just open the damned doors and serve the public with open arms like we pay you to do.
I stopped reading at open the dam doors. That was enough for me
My next video I publish is going to be a pass from the two closest other cities to St Charles.
They want you to do as your told...
When its them that should do as their told .
As usual everything is back to front...
Requiring a badge to use/gain public access is not very public. That practice needs to stop immediately.
Instead they are writing a policy to start enforcing it.
Long Island Audit went to a city building in North Carolina and couldn't access use of the elevator.
I'm a certified security officer and I've learned so much from watching these audits. I haven't been in any situations like these, but if I ever do I am now educated on how to handle these type of situations. Thank you!!
Outstanding Kee Kee. One of the security guards that I audited in Springfield is now a subscriber. It's the covid test site video on my channel. Thanks for sharing the info and thank you more for learning! I meet good cops and public officials all the time and they know what auditors do and many actually do come around and see the light. Have a good one, bud.
That’s good to hear
You've learned how to "handle" auditors - so you probably know how to avoid ending becoming one of their "RUclips stars". But I'm not sure how that's going to help you in dealing with the people who actually need to use the facilities you work in.
@@OlYables 17 yrs certified and in the business...I said what I said and he understood what I said.
@kee kee Check out long Island audit he has some good content
Can’t they just put up a HUGE sign that says, “Warning! The bill of rights is void in this building.”
It would be appropriate.
You'd think after being called out for their fraudulent sign in sheet that they would scrub that policy, but Nooo, they'd rather double down 🤦♂️. They're gonna learn the hard way!!
I was still nice about it too. No more Mr Nice guy. Time to change up the approach.
@@CitizenStandpointNews Yes!!!! Do it! Even though you sound fed up in this one already! And I like it!
They know most would comply. Let's say you owe property taxes and have to go to the tax collector's office...but you refuse to sign in. Think the gov't wouldn't seize your property because you didn't appear as expected because you maintain that you wanted to protect your Fourth Amendment rights? LOL. Hell no.
There is a very long list of things that can go sour from these unlawful policies.
@@valentinius62 A hypothetical situation which is less than likely to ever occur, but okay: keep coming up with outlandish scenarios to justify this lunacy.
Only problem is, policy does not trump the law, thus their policy is ILLEGAL! You should have logged in as Richard Cranium. LOL!
It's one of my favorites actually. Thomas Jefferson seemed a bit more appropriate. Don't worry Richard is going to get let out of the bag soon enough.
Wait, I have to put my name on a piece of paper?! (It doesn't even have to be my name, but still!) We are truly surrounded by horrific injustice at every turn! Citizen Standpoint News, please save us from this abject tyranny!!
"I thought there was an official policy " cops think that very exactly thing to about laws but you'll never seeing one apologizing for being wrong like this guy did -good on him
"I like to believe in people" says the guy babysitting someone inside an illegally restricted public building.
Say one thing, do another.
Smash that share button so it gets around to the locals and they can see what right their city is violating.
What makes the government think they have the right to make any policy stopping the people from going anywhere in a public own building. We the people need to stand up against it.
Even if they write up a policy it’s still technically not enforceable. But like you said, just write a fake name. If they want ID, that will never fly
You are correct about the ID requirement. That would be against the 4th A. Only law enforcement is allowed to require ID and only if you violate the law. A policy requiring ID to access a public building would be a violation of the law.
Probably could sign in using an alias. If it's not backed up by legislation, there would be no penalty for doing so. Of course, no penalty for not signing in either.
Yep, you can put a fake name: so why even complain about the sign-in sheet policy at all? HUGE waste of everyone's time.
The public access to this public building confuses me.
It's simple... you just give up your 4th and 5th amendment rights in order to get very basic public services. Be sure to smash that share button so the rest of the country can see the traitors in action.
@@CitizenStandpointNews .
No ID requested of Thomas Jefferson.
Signing in was just theater and as such is a pure waste of time and money.
Waste on cards and related special cards
You should FOIA the record of badges; lost, stolen, damaged, replaced, known duplicates, de-activated. One sign says 'Security Desk', the other says 'Information Desk'. P.S. I went to Midvale.
I noticed that too on review but didn't recognize on site. I wasn't looking in the direction of the door so I missed the push/pull aspect. I was keeping my eye on the cops.
FILE COMPLAINTS, UNACCEPTABLE, TAXPAYER'S HAVE THE RIGHT TO WALK IN WITHOUT SIGNING AND CARRYING A BADGE
and answering questions.
The policy is crazy. The public should have totally free access to their government without rules/stupid policies. This should be against the law.
Good audt as always, Kent. Thanks for keeping our public officials accountable for their actions by exposing their unlawful practices.
Going to have to follow through a bit more on this one. Thanks for watching!
You can expose their asses until the cows come home, wtf is it going change?? Nothing!! STOP PAYING YOUR TAXES!! This is such bullshit!!
A city attorney can interpret a sign how ever he wants. Doesn't make it the law, legal or right.
Attorneys don't know laws. They're simply more familiar with them than the rest of us. They know little about the intricacies of the Bill of Rights, and relevant court cases. Their true expertise is in knowing the intricacies of legal procedures needed to navigate the System. That's the only reason we need them. They built that system, thus are the only ones capable of understanding how it really works.
Is it a crime to hinder the records request process in your state?
I'd just cut the BS and file against her. You don't need to put up with their crap.
It's also not a requirement in any way you use a form. He could send an email and get the records the same way. Therefore, it would be VERY hard to hinder the records request process. Many towns don't even have in person staff you could get or file a form with, for example. You can still request their records in writing, by mail or email. Missouri pioneered open records/transparency in the US, and it's excessively easy.
Filing a complaint with the Missouri AG office.
Typical public servants, rude, childish, self-entitled, wasteful, lazy... No wonder it costs so much to run our government with these clowns running the show.
so true, watch Audit Them that guy goes through the same hell and gets assaulted doing a foia request. these city members have become too emboldend
It had to be said,” Badges? I don’t need no stinking badges!” When are these public idiots going to learn that “policy” does NOT OVERRIDE the CONstitution and Supreme Court case rulings.
Why does the receptionist need to know what business you have with the clerk? I noticed she didn't ask you that while her boss was standing there. Great job Mr. Jefferson
She sure changed her attitude from the last visit.
Some people never learn 🤣👎🏻 stay safe out there bro 💯🇺🇸👍
Badge for the elevator but per fire code stairswels have to remain unlocked if I am not mistaken
People that work in this city actually believe their the sole ownee of it. Free to do whatever they want on their private. property.
Good work! I love the way that you conducted yourself, being respectful yet not letting them intimidate you. I’m not sure how they can get away with a policy restricting access to public, but no reason for restrictions. I would not want to be inside the building if an emergency occurred.
Can’t have a policy that violates our constitutional rights. If you could, they could literally have one that’s says “sorry, no black and Asian people”. Try that one out and see how that flies…
"Can’t have a policy that violates our constitutional rights."
If that was true, you could carry a firearm in a school. And you should be able to.
It's rather funny to see somebody like the receptionist violating rights.
just so happened to be 2 cops standing by if that rights guy gets out of control..lol..what a joke
Exactly, I've audited almost a thousand public buildings at this point and have yet to steal, fight, threaten or break any law.
@@CitizenStandpointNews You do smoke crack though.
I have yet to be accused of it.
@@CitizenStandpointNews 😆
These buildings belong to the people, if they want to keep this crap up, they need to find another way to fund them without tax payers money, and the people should pay these people also
What happens if the badge reader malfunctions ?
I mean if there was to be a fire or power outage ?
" It's all about public safety, "
ya' know.
No fireman is going to be reading those names or have time for that crap.
THEY SHOULD HAVE A SIGN THAT SAYS 'RISK OF DEATH WHEN YOU LOSE YOUR KEY CARD'.
Well done...public building with public notices with limited access can't be lawful
Looks like this audit rattled their cage a bit. Some citizens of this city have told me they have now closed the entire city hall to the public. I wonder what they are hiding.
Hurry call the police! There's a citizen here trying to exercise rights.
They continue to waste resources at an astounding rate. Two police officers and a city administrator for a simple request.
@@CitizenStandpointNews Everyone understands the logic. They just refuse to concede authority. It's the broken window theory applied to rights. One small right being exercised will snow ball into absolute freedom. Absolute freedom results in absolute anarchy. Somewhere in the grey scale lays the answer.
Everything is perpetually changing, especially people.
Before the end of 2022 you'll be sitting at min 100k subs. You're an incredible auditor. You know your laws, you're well spoken, you're persistent and you don't get intimidated easily, hell almost never.
The times I've walked away it was planned from the beginning and I regretted it. Those places have revisits coming. Thanks for the awesome compliment Al! I sure hope this channel reaches 100k. I envy the silver plaque, lol.
@@CitizenStandpointNews You, Mass Accountability and NH Press Now are my top 3 and have bright futures. Most of the channels w 100k subs have lost sight of what got them into auditing. I mean for God sakes we have Amagansett Press "auditing" jewelry stores now which is extremely disappointing. Thank you for keeping it real.
That seems odd about Amagansett. I would guess that there's a reason for it. Most of the cities probably got a big heads up they were in town, but I could be wrong. I will generally only concentrate my efforts on public employees but there are many private business that get huge contracts with public money. The only private company I'm currently looking into is tied directly to crimes committed by the state. I've been wanting to publish but have to wait for some more information.
I predict 3 arrests by summer. You are way over your skis. You don't know the function of the police and Sheriff's Department. Your self appointed role as watch dog is laughable. Knit picking is just Juvenile
@@AmericanProud7 bootlickers gonna bootlick.
THEY ALL LIKE TO THINK THEY ARE SPECIAL CREATURES THAT CAN MAKE THEIR OWN RULES.
They are in the middle writing the policy.
When they are done writing the policy it still won't be enforceable.
Correct???
I live in Missouri and this is what is going on in every Federal, State, and City building and no cellphone in Courthouses and is only supposed to be the Judge's Courtroom!
I had State Prosecutor Robert Russell of Johnson County Missouri verbally threaten me saying he was going to throw my ass down a staircase because I wasn't a lawyer and got away with it due to no cellphones in the Courthouse
Hall v. State: no matter how often it's used or how well it's accepted, policies don't gain legal authority by usage!
I will keep Johnson County in my thoughts when I stroll through.
Damn Missouri,
I love the way "Citizen" makes you feel like we're along on the audit and he's really doing it for the people.
Talk about locking us out of our own place
Good lord…it’s amazing that it’s nearly 2022 and these tyrannical morons still don’t get it.
Well done, my friend…you handled yourself impressively. Fantastic stuff buddy.
How crazy is this. Cutting off access to public services
Every time I watch these it's like ugh here we go again. How is 95 percent of the government uneducated? You would think making sure they ARE educated would be a priority.
Way to go Thomas Jefferson lol.
Excellent point for the bulletins need to be downstairs for the citizens. Great follow up on the policy that they didn't have in writing and the sign not being lawful, definitely a great audit.
Thanks for noticing those key points! I love it when my viewers are aware of the legality more than the drama.
The state of misery. They don't call it the show me state for nothing.
THANK YOU for the FREEDOM fight! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 GREAT Work Sir!
Thanks for watching. More content on the way after my little Christmas break.
'you must wear that' (THE badge). is that a law? define 'wear'. can I wear it in my pocket?
their idiocy seems to be boundless.....and still they follow it....blindly.
Case in point, if it were a lawful sign then you would be required to give your true name and also sign in with your true signature
Love ya Jerry!
LAWSUIT. THIS IS A BIG FIRE HAZARD AND RISK OF DEATH THING. PEOPLE WILL BE UNABLE TO LEAVE UNLESS YOU HAVE A CARD.
Wow how many rights can this place possibly infringe upon? I lost count after 12
Even after they got caught enforcing a non existent policy as if it's law they doubled down on the stupid.
They called the police on you again. What are they afraid of? They are so crazy!!
It cracks me up. They know I'm an auditor. They just haven't figured out that they are giving me content with their ignorant behavior.
@@CitizenStandpointNews right. You’re the story!!!!
I walked through a total of 5 other city halls on this day and nobody followed me around like a puppy. I'm going to publish those visits tomorrow possibly. I caught one with an unlawful sign and requested info on it. Their response was pretty freaking awesome and I want to inform my viewers. No drama, just good news.
@@CitizenStandpointNews we like to see the good ones also. I’ve shown some law enforcement the good post office ones when they think it’s a law that people can’t record in the PO
Did that woman at the beginning tell you the elevator wouldn't work without a sign-in badge? It seemed to work just fine. 😆 Then the receptionist said to you "You're not gonna go upstairs until you tell me what you need." OMG...those were fighting words! CSN, your audits are fascinating.
Kinda like how they tell us we can't drive without a drivers licence in our possession. I can attest that my vehicle operates fine even if I don't have it on me.
@@valentinius62 Thank you -- I was thinking she meant a badge was needed to swipe something in order to make the elevator move. Now I understand that she meant he was simply unwelcome, pretty much anywhere in the entire building, without one of their stupid ID badges.
Either she makes up rules of that don't exist or her boss expects her to enforce a policy that even her boss won't enforce
Amazing just amazing. they trying to keep people from visiting this building.
It was a policy not a law, that prevented Rosa Parks from sitting in the front of the bus.
there should NEVER be a policy that requires members of the public to give up their rights to access the public offices and the receptionist never needs to know what your business is she is a receptionist not a confident
Tell him you have PRIVATE BUSINESS with the city clerk and to leave you alone to carry out your business
Great job again Kent. The public officials there still don’t get it and I believe that the city attorney must have passed law school with a grade of “D”. Those signs are a joke. One would think that they have to be embarrassed by now.
They keep on stepping on the rake and I'm going to keep on recording. I will move on when they stop breaking the law.
Disgusting how public servants act to the public..our whole government needs these tyrants removed.
They have now shut down the whole of city hall to the public, ridiculous.
@@CitizenStandpointNews wow...our system is such a disappointment..our founders are spinning at like 10k rpms in their graves right about now..
The tax rates alone would cause them to revolt.
When I was in high school social studies class had me memorize all of our presidents in a song so we can remember. But nowhere did they ever teach me the amendments that make us free.
Probably because the document teaches you to think for yourself.
But policy is still not law. If you can file paperwork with the city clerk anonymously. Why do we have to give our names to sign in.
That guy just did a tailgate. He should have to also swipe his card.
you should have asked for smarty pants salary & employment records while he stood there
Keep em honest !
Great job!
Damn, you buck THEIR system, and they need butt-hurt cream! Lol
There's no statute or state code listed on the sign...
Means there's No Lawful Sign.
I was there just a couple of weeks ago and the staff was very polite, but I didn't try to go to the clerks office. However, they need to understand that their policies do not trump the Constitution. The Mayor should be questioned about this practice.
I may revisit at a different time to see if I can get an interview.
The current mayor is a dick who bullies anyone within the city government who opposes him into quitting. He’s worse than worthless, he’s been actively hurting the main street businesses and has pushed a liquor license law that pretty much gets rid of food requirements for restaurants. I just hope someone will actually run against him.
So if you sign in as Mickey Mouse or any false name you can get an access badge… what is the purpose? What security does scribbling a name on a piece of paper provide? This is idiocracy at its finest.
That's the point! Exposing corrupt government with one Thomas Jefferson at a time.
Wow incredible ground breaking. You really exposed them! 🤦♂️
We're in the midst of writing the policy?? lol..The city provided you a personal tour guide at no charge to you. Good call on the public notices. Might be a way they get around people seeing the notices by restricting public access to such notices.
BINGO YOU WIN
Just called and they have blocked any calls coming into the City offices
Corrupt city officials want to know who are investigating their corruption. It should be simple (and fair) enough to go online and get their private, personal information?
Don't do it, seriously. That's a line I won't cross. I keep it professional.
One of the things the public is ignorant of is how much information is out there on them. A google search alone can bring up a treasure trove of information.
@@CitizenStandpointNews I'm not saying I would do that. But, the information is there. I'm not suggesting anyone else do it either. So, there's my disclaimer.
Thank you Scott. I'm actually a bit of a privacy advocate. If they're on the clock, they're fair game.
I called the phone number listed and got a very unhappy and defensive male public employee on the phone. He was very unhappy to hear from me.

Many people don't realize that I meet good cops all the time, but I find bad ones often enough. Isn't Des Plaines in the Chicago area?
That lady asking people why they are there. What right does she have inquiring into our personal business? Our confidential matters are our business not hers. She’s a receptionist right? Why is she asking people this?

And a press pass to maybe 🤔. Those people want full control.
They may very well have one. Going to have to look into that one. Thanks for opening up that door in my mind.
I say take all this security and transfer them all to the public schools. These people think they are so important that they need security… NOPE, not that important.
If all they have to do to go against the law is post a policy somewhere ask them why they took the white only signs off the water fountains
Much respect 👊 happy holidays to you and your family 🎄🍾
Same to you!
Since when does the front desk clerk 'give permission' and screen your actions. That might be okay in a major corporation, but a public building. Who in the world decided that a badge was required for a tax paying citizen to go conduct business.
"This is our..." they were trained!
we have a sherrifs to handle court crime, police to handle street crime and we are working on a traffic enforcement dept, curb and sidewalk security, park police, private business infractions, food inspection police and of course child rearing police so soon we will have everybody on the public dole and we can just print money to pay them. Sounds like it will work?

You are fantastic. Maybe one day you can come down to southwest Missouri, much needed down here. Much love!!!
Planning on it. Be sure to hit that share button. More viewers equals bigger splash when I get there.
Kent,
I truly appreciate everything you do, these public servants have run amuck unchecked for far too long.
I just wish I had the time to do the same in my locale. Massachusetts is implementing a federal ID it is called REAL ID. It is and extremely overpriced ID they're forcing everybody to get just to enter any federal or state building it's completely unconstitutional and nobody even cares it makes me sick to see what's going on in this country people have no idea what this is leading to. This is the very reason they create all these false Flags to implement fear and fear erodes our God-given rights.
Thank you for that information. I would love to audit them but they're a bit far off the beaten path for me. I'm not of fan of showing id to gain entry to a building that the public owns.
Right at the beginning I thought "use the stairs", then I saw the door, it's a push bar fire escape, which makes me wonder if it is enterable from the other side. Surely this cannot be the case, that would force people to use the elevator, what if they are claustrophobic? What if it breaks down, do firemen rescuing somebody have to sign in and use a card to open a door to rescue someone? There is a lot wrong with that system apart from the law, do they refuse to hire people if they cannot use an elevator in case they have to travel between floors with paperwork or use a restroom if the one on their floor is out of order? Also the man forced himself on you which gave you no privacy to make your request, I wish I could get to America and help sort these things out.
These are all very good questions. Maybe they have an explanation that's not full of shit like the sign in sheet.
She drunk too much Kool Aid, now she too KOOL to be FRAID
It was actually poisoned "Flavor Aid" that was served at Jonestown.

4:14 "you want to do this..."(undermine mine my self made authority). WOW!
It’s easier to get into the country than some of these buildings.
Sad but true.
They didn’t ask for ID, do they usually? What good is it that they want a name when you can write anything you want? I don’t understand… And if they write a policy, can it even be enforced to the public in a state, city or federal building
They never learn do they???
