When you’re a company selling xl cabinets and you say you have “big news” it best be a xl cabinet. Otherwise you’re just going to piss people off

Thanks for giving Gorf a little love. I still would love to find a non working 1Up Tron cabinet and reskin it to Gorf. Also had my eye on local actual Gorf cabinets for sale. But, still on a bit of a buying freeze right now unless an absolute can't miss deal happens.

I m a bit late to the party, I bought 4 cabinets 4 months ago (Pac-Man, Atari 50,X-men, & MK2), then an atgames 4k Adam’s Fam. I’m hoping for Star Wars Deluxe.

I'm really hoping it's not another Pacman cabinet. Not that Pacman isn't a big seller the issue is the same cabinet game lineup we already have. Arcade 1up needs new games if they want to succeed. Bring on SmashTV

I did notice that Star Wars has been removed from Arcade1up website. Still showing Tron (sold out) and KI Pro (sold out) wondering why they would remove Star Wars. Have they lost license???? Thanks for the great walk & talk, and the vertical screen was fine by me on the live stream

I love Best Buy. That's why I keep trying to get a job at my location. In fact, I re-applied last weekend for product flow warehouse and did that ridiculous Talview interview.

They been talking about the last 10 or 15 yrs that Best Buy would close. They are still here. People still shop in stores, I think big purchases you still want to see it and touch it in person.

I actually hope it doesn't have all the games on the teaser in one cabinet because of the concessions that would have to be made with the controls. Like having a 6 button arrangement for everything or an overabundance of controls with different types of joysticks, trackballs, spinners, etc. on one cabinet. That's a thing I don't like about traditional home multicades. If that's what I wanted I'd get one of those.. or the upcoming one from GRS or hell just stick to playing games on generic consoles, or PCs with fighting sticks..
A reason why I like arcade1up is for the most part they do recreations of actual cabinets especially with the control layouts.
I gotta tell you after unboxing KI Pro, there is absolutely nothing like it :) Anything they give us or any other XL is short what they did with this one!

I’m thinking about getting the Pac-Man Deluxe or the Golden -Tee Deluxe. Still waiting on the KI pro price drop. I’ve been collecting Masters of the Universe figures lately so my wallet is a bit low. This is probably the last Black Friday where you'll be able I get arcade1up's imo. I think the company won't be releasing any new licenses going forward.

Who would pay 1000 for an arcade 1up? Well i guess i did lmao. Hey Phil I have an nba jam OG and a golden tee 3d. The only arcade 1up I really want bad is a Fast and the Furious cab. I heard they are a blast. Love the artwork. Do you think it's worth the $600? Will it ever go on sale? I never see them on market place..
lol :) they were 399 briefly last winter I’d wait for 499 or less. 599 is a little much for 1-2 games.

I doubt there's anything "big" or new license-wise for that matter coming from arcade1up. We can all dream but it seems like the news they were referring to was the claw machine and Pac-Man rehash. It's crazy that they haven't saturated the market yet with Pac-Man.
Punisher baby! I can't wait to play this game with you and the community. This is really exciting that we finally get to play online with people. I've been adding people on Nintendo switch and they keep asking me when im going to get it 😂 I've had my preorder in since June. One of my favorite beat em ups.
How awesome is it that you got GameStop pro for an entire year? They seem to get hidden gems every now and then. Step above Walmart and target imo.
I understand you need to be more selective with what you buy. Can't collect every piece of nostalgia that's out there. I think as a rule of thumb to abide by you should only purchase things that have a story behind them. Then during your review tell that personal story to us because we really connect and can relate with you that way. Also it's more rewarding collecting things that have meaning to us.
P.S. Phil if you can throw a prayer up to the big guy for me. Things have been tough lately but I'm pushing through with staying busy and trying to keep my mind off of things. I appreciate if you could Phil!

What other games could be on Paperboy ? That cab wouldn't be successful with just 1 game on it. SpyHunter on the other hand . . .
Have you seen the midway mash up xl? All the games have controls that don't work
Honestly I’d be ok with just Paperboy at this point. We can play just about anything now maybe the unique dedicated cabs are the future :)
1up has cheap controls in my opinion... The direction controls have the activation button at the end of the travel direction instead of being an active controller...
I think the claw mechanism will be faulty and made of chrome painted plastic. Knowing arcade1up they'll put the cheapest controls possible in it.
I agree their not the best we can change them up, but I’m guessing claw machine will be pretty cheap
People want unique controls so a paperboy with handlebars would sell. I doubt it would cost them much they probably already have the license

Nobody should of been surprised when 1up revealed their big news yesterday, it was what everybody thought with some added disappointment. Claw Machines, photo booth's and rehashed pacman for the millionth time. All the original 1up members are gone and we have seen the direction this new staff is going. Making all this wonky 1 off stuff.
This company is now dead to most of this community id guess seeing as its clear their moving away from making 3/4 arcades and not even rehashing alot of their titles besides golden tee and pac man . Hell we didnt even get the usual mk and sf cabs this year , once the other companies get into the fold next year 1up will be an after thought.
I’m hoping there’s still something else besides what we found out last night. Maybe they’re trying to accommodate everyone and like the Midway GT XL, we will get something again. It’s a bummer though I agree man.

@@PDX7 id be shocked , they're moving away from what made them money and now it seems like the new plan is try to make items that ppl may impulse buy . The days of them investing in new titles or ideas i think is long past.
