I always took the line “half way to the moon in a plane you couldn’t land” as like when people say “shoot for the moon”…like he’s already half way to the moon, he just doesn’t know how to land the plane when he gets there. But she doesn’t care, she’s along for the ride, and she knows he’ll figure out how to land by the time he makes it to the moon.

I haven't seen the video yet, so sorry if this was brought up, but I interpret it as the guy being unable to land a plane so it just keeps going (up towards the moon) but maisie is with him anyway because she loves him and believes in him no matter what. The rest of the song gives me the impression that the guy isn't necessarily doing everything right (got my arms out, trying to catch you as you're falling through the ceiling, took a big leap now you're bleeding with a broke nose and a dumb smile) but it's charming and Maisie will always stay by his side and support him ❤

hey! i just discovered your channel and i really love your reactions you should definitely listen to the first album i think it's even better than the good witch but apart from that it would be great to listen to the songs that didn't make it to the album but were released as singles!!! (Blonde - Cate's Brother and Good Enough) but if i have to describe it and give a warning beforehand Good Enough might be the song that made me cry the most in my life it's giving All too well!!!
