@@PowerRepublic Look into Endurance racing, yes not as fast and 4 stroke, easier on the body on SL1's and lots of laps. My last QLD race we still saw 107kph at Ippy during a 12 hour. It's bigger in NSW with 4 separate series each getting over 20 karts per race for a minimum of 6 hours upto 24 hours.
@@PowerRepublic I am 40 y.o. and I recently started racing Rotax Senior against 15 y.o. kids, so I know exactly how your arms feel after the racing weekend ahhahaha
Hi Derek, do you mind doing a video showing how to set -up the fuel lines on the mini-rok, I'm not sure how to connect the breather tubes and fuel return lines. Thank you
Hey Vin , we not allowed to run the return lines this year did you know ? We have all sorts of trouble with the cadet 9 spraying fuel out the breather hoses
Yo Derek, great to see you back in the kart. The old fox never forgets... I have a question, maybe you can help me. What is the best opening for a spark plug (rotax max)? I hear from 0.45mm to 0.90mm but what is best?
Hey Jord, thanks for watching. It was mad fun but I’ll wait another year before the next race day. As for spark gap, I use the Denso out of the pack for years and I think they are close 0.65mm. Set em there and get on with something else like optimum tyres pressures ImO
Hey I have a older parilla leopard 125 and it will fire up if I give it gas but it won’t stay idling I’ve tried to clean the carburetor and adjust it but it doesn’t seem to want to adjust any tips??
would love to see more vids like these! sick as bro
Thanks legend , I’ll see what I can do. ….
Welcome back to racing Mate, the bug never leaves.
Thanks boss , maybe get another one in. Hard with work and all that. I think. I’ll leave to the kids

@@PowerRepublic Thanks Derek. I did read about it but not sure where those return lines are... is that the T-joint, so basically just remove it?
