My husband was (I’m a widow) the same height as Dimash, but he didn’t like being that tall, because he didn’t want his friends to feel bad and he hated being taller than his dad for the same reason. Since I have started listening to Dimash, I have learned that not everyone actually "feels" music. I was not aware of that, as I thought that was the whole point of music. There is even such a thing as soundwave therapy. I have learned that some people only "listen" to music but don't physically feel it in their body. I feel sad for them as they are missing the most amazing part about music! You clearly FEEL music and because of that, you can truly appreciate Dimash and his incredible talent. Keep going as he will always make you feel something, even if its just happy and fun like some of his pop music. Personally, I truly feel his performance of Ikanaide for the Tokyo Jazz Festival. I think you would enjoy that one from the emotional side, but it is also a vocal masterpiece and study in breath control. To me it is absolute perfection. Enjoy and I'm pretty sure you need to call yourself a "Dear." Keep up your amazing journey.

This song was an original song of the band playing here, A-Studio. Their original lead singer was the one who sang this song. Dimash is THE BEST.
That cello makes it absolutely perfect. The song has a haunting melody and the cello takes it over the top. Pair it with Dimash's voice and his stage presence and you are pulled completely in. Dimash is a slender 6'3" tall man, and it is amazing how much passion and talent is in that beautiful man. So: Dimash is a miracle, so his absolute powerful and unshakable presence on stage, compared by some to a god of music, sometimes to a prince or king, the energy he absorbs from the Universe, then how he anchors himself to the Earth, his connection with the Divinity, all at a place, it gives him the strength and confidence to "command the audience, to order the orchestra, to order the song", so that everything comes out the way he wants and how Dimash feels, that is unique. All these qualities are only at Dimash, absolutely. Mature beyond years having been raised by grandparents as is custom for the eldest child by his culture in kasakastan. This was another very enjoyable reaction. This was his 2018 guest performance at the New Wave competition, held annually since 2002 at the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park. The band A-Studio is originally from Kazakhstan. The keyboard player, Baigali Serkebaev, composed the song together with the poet Ilia Reznik, and the song was first performed in 1998. The singer of the group A-Studio passed away in 2015, and in this concert, the group was backing up guest vocalists. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash, and a member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts. Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh RUclipsr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Sakha people use this technique too; they call it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies. The final run is 21.73 seconds on one breath. This competition was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up in the first row, Igor Krutoy, a famous Russian music composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. He invited Dimash to perform, and it was this performance that prompted him to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I Miss You, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, Stranger, and Ave Maria, just to name a few. I love hearing Dimash sing! I have heard him several times on Eshplume. But you know I have a few favorites and you are for sure one of them. But I like different channels for different reasons. You should watch Esh's reaction too! This song is just amazing! It's so beautiful and you feel it in your soul in pretty much anything Dimash does. He's got such a beautiful voice. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements.
In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. Without subtitles, if you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and motivating his army to fight a losing battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. Since I have started listening to Dimash, I have learned that not everyone actually "feels" music. I was not aware of that, as I thought that was the whole point of music. There is even such a thing as soundwave therapy. I have learned that some people only "listen" to music but don't physically feel it in their body. I feel sad for them as they are missing the most amazing part about music! You clearly FEEL music and because of that, you can truly appreciate Dimash and his incredible talent. Keep going as he will always make you feel something, even if its just happy and fun like some of his pop music. Personally, I truly feel his performance of Ikanaide for the Tokyo Jazz Festival. I think you would enjoy that one from the emotional side, but it is also a vocal masterpiece and study in breath control. To me it is absolute perfection. Enjoy and I'm pretty sure you need to call yourself a "Dear." Keep up your amazing journey.

This song was originally a more upbeat pop song & it was the work of the band backing him here, & the guy on keyboard wrote it. The original singer died some years ago & Dimash added the "yodel-like" chant as a respectful gesture to him. Whenever Dimash sings a cover of a song he likes to do the arrangement for the song as he wants to sing it & he does this so well. 😊🙏💞

Dimash is not a little guy. He is 6'3" tall. Did you catch that crazy vocal run that he did all in one breath? He performed this in Sochi, Russia. THe man who stood up in the audience was none other than Igor Krutoy, famous Russian composer, who saw Dimash here and came out of retirement to work with Dimash. This song was an original song of the band playing here, A-Studio. Their original lead singer was the one who sang this song. Dimash is THE BEST.

That cello makes it absolutely perfect. The song has a haunting melody and the cello takes it over the top. Pair it with Dimash's voice and his stage presence and you are pulled completely in. Dimash is a slender 6'3" tall man, and it is amazing how much passion and talent is in that beautiful man. As you continue to react to Diamsh, you will see and hear the passion he puts into all of his music. Dimash said that we must cherish and continue to develop the talents that God gives to each of us. He also said that since the age of two, he has never wanted to do anything but sing. The pianist wrote this song and this is the original band, A-Studio. The lead singer died a few years prior. You should watch a series of short videos called, "The Ultimate Guide to Dimash." It follows Dimash from early in his life and has interviews with so many people in his life, along the way...including interviews with Dimash. I hope you watch "Ikaniade." Each piece has its place in time and space, it is appropriate in a certain context, event. Each song takes you on a certain journey, be it magical, be it angelic, be it love or be it a story, either sad, or happy, or fighting, or patriotic. Dimash personality isn’t shy unless asked awkward question of a modest humble person. Mature beyond years having been raised by grandparents as is custom for the eldest child by his culture in kasakastan. But dimash by his activism and peace view in his songs and life style is the head of several non for profit peace keeping organizations. You see in the music video story and song the story of one sky his com0lete view. His very personality reminds me of my grandfather a mentor and familia leader in our family. Yes, depimashs whole demeanor and maturity is grandfatherly. He exudes it. I’ve never heard him talk of any other fellow entertainer or do smack. I’ve heard others in America no less treat him poorly. You wonder why he’s not here. He doesn’t need us. He’s independent and up to this point he would have to give that up to be on our music scene. With his own ticket agency Dimash Ali studio and production he will just collab with others. I belive he’s in his doctorate. We need him here in the US so badly with our ruptured music. Ai and auto tuned is killing us. I’m sure it’s in his music but he’s more forced to use it than by choice. With perfect pitch he will use these minimal or to assist the song. Need it? No.

This was another very enjoyable reaction. This was his 2018 guest performance at the New Wave competition, held annually since 2002 at the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park. The band A-Studio is originally from Kazakhstan. The keyboard player, Baigali Serkebaev, composed the song together with the poet Ilia Reznik, and the song was first performed in 1998. The singer of the group A-Studio passed away in 2015, and in this concert, the group was backing up guest vocalists. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash, and a member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts.
Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh RUclipsr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Sakha people use this technique too; they call it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies. The final run is 21.73 seconds on one breath.
This competition was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up in the first row, Igor Krutoy, a famous Russian music composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. He invited Dimash to perform, and it was this performance that prompted him to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I Miss You, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, Stranger, and Ave Maria, just to name a few. Since this concert, he has been collaborating with Dimash, writing music with his vocal range in mind, and often accompanying him on the piano. So you'll see more of him.
