Their military service is not mandatory, they are idols which in the first place did not have to do with it until Jin (the oldest member) said he felt bad and wanted to do it, then the rest of the members felt bad too and didn’t want Jin to go alone. I just wanted this to be heard so no one has the wrong impression. And I try not to believe these things since most of the time they’re fake..

All I know is that Jungkook and Jimin enlisted as Companion Soldiers. The decision was made by them and they had to apply months before their enlistment date to be selected as Companion Soldiers.
Companion stay together throughout their 18 months of service.
Jungkook and Jimin are in a small Artillery Unit close to the North Korean Border. It is not a favoured posting and they could have both been in an easier Unit if they enlisted separately.
Their decision as CS is to be together and from that they gain strength to serve their enlistment. Both have admitted that being together makes things easier. Yes, Jungkook is a Chef/Cook which is something he enjoys. Jimin is in Fire Direction Command and has attained recognition awards with his outstanding skills in Maths and Physics.
Both are together and as CS are designated as a team.
All this video is speculation by someone who doesn't understand the Korean Military and is very light on their knowledge of BTS. In other words its lies to gain views for money from YT.
Believe what you want but dont give views to liars who make up stories only listen to official announcements.
