    I was on a garbage route today and I seen a massive hornets nest on the Eve of a house. Easily was the size of 2 to 3 soccer balls put together. It was massive and they were extremely aggressive. They were pelting my truck and I was easily 50 ft away! This was in Delton township, Wi!

    Love your vids man!! U helped me with my situation, I know you said the Tempo is better than Delta so next time I'm getting Tempo. I've been hitting a hole and area in corner of brick near soffit. Its been about a week and a half and it seems the numbers are dwindling . It took a lot of time because I think the nest is big. I don't see many dead ones I think alot die in the nest

    1 cup dish soap, 2 cups ammonia in a sprayer. Fill 5 gallon sprayer the rest of the way with water. 10 years running after learning about the solution…… 0 fails. Every wasp/bee nest is destroyed. Day or night I always won!

    • @seraphx26
      @seraphx26 2 года назад +3

      Won't do anything if you have a nest deep behind soffit, brickwork, or a wall void and it very likely also won't take out ground nests late in the season. This is one of those tricks that can work in the right circumstance like an exposed aerial nest but there's a reason the pros don't use it, it just isn't reliable in too many situations.
      When I hit a nest with tempo or drione I know that nest is shut down for good.

    • @wasphunter7131
      @wasphunter7131  2 года назад

      The delta dust has a longer life it can stay for months and still kill pests where it was applied the shelf life of the tempo is much lower but it’s far more potent it’s more designed for a kill the entire colony fast treatment not a long term protection

    • @sobe9ball
      @sobe9ball 2 года назад

      @@wasphunter7131 I noticed that! It seems like the DELTA DUST coats the wasps better BUT the tempo dust seemed to kill them much much quicker!

    • @seraphx26
      @seraphx26 2 года назад +1

      Tempo dust has a faster knock down and kills them quicker, delta is very resistant to moisture so you can put it in a wall void and it will have the same effect for up to 8 months after application if undisturbed.
      The big issue with delta and yellow jackets specifically is that many of the colonies have developed a resistance to delta dust, I have hit colonies with delta multiple times and it did nothing to get rid of them, when I used tempo on the same nests they were gone in under 10 hours.

      A nest this time of the year has close to 1,000-2,000 workers that's about where they peak where they are seasonal due to winter, some can be smaller but around 1,000 is average for an active yellow jacket nest late in the season.
      I've also found ground nests to have the biggest populations.
