Thank you for posting this. I am new to Skype so this is helpful. Too bad I didn't watch this before choosing my user name. I would have done differently if I had. So I'm thinking I best cancel and open a new account. I certainly want my user name to be professional and I appreciate the advise.

How would I use my notebook on wifi to chat with home PC skype when away.
Do I need a separate subscription? (I have a couple of different ISP's available.)
@Penguinman623 If your computer already has a camera installed, you don't need a headset, but I would recommend it for better quality sound. :-) Hope this helps!

You may want to delete the program from your computer and re-install without having any other programs open. Double check that you have the right password and sign in information.

If you want people to call you on Skype (specifically your computer) from a land line, then I believe you have to buy the Skype number

@jommy346 I'm not sure what you're asking. Skype is an ID not a number. So whatever username you chose is your ID. Does that help? You share that ID with others to Skype. :-)

Oh my gosh, me too! :-) I ONLY use Skype for my business! My family home number is for personal use and now with a teenager, I can only imagine the amount of time she'll be on the house phone! YIKES! Love my skype!

Can I ask something? Let's take for example, I'm instant messaging multiple people and they want a call. is it possible to block yourself out of the call but still hear their conversation and im them still? Thank you!

@SuperErin21 You can, but I would have to ask why would you? I'm not sue about camfrog, so I can't comment on it, but there is a way to call others or at least try to connect with others on skype.

@IrenaM6 Depends where your pictures are stored from your webcam. Mine are hard to find at times, but the easiest thing for me to do is to take another picture and when it asks to save, I look at the directory and make a mental note. ;-D If you need help, you can skype me or FB and I'll help you. :-D

@doly2000111 Check your settings. Make sure your computer has a mic or if you are using a headset, make sure you choose the correct program you want to run the mic. Remember to check your audio settings. If you need help, skype me, and remind me about your question and I'll try to walk you through it. Now if you have a mac, then it will be a lot more trickier because I don't know my way around a mac and skype. :-) Hope this helps! Corina
