@@snorresschoolofdesktopsata1945 I look forward to it! Once again, you're one of the main guitarists I looked up to and based my work off, so it came as a fantastic surprise to me once I found out that you were starting a tutorial channel for music. Keep up the incredible work with Thorns and Stigma Diabolicum!
My good sir, it is hard to believe this is happening now!! i have been a fan for eternity, I could never imagine in mid 90's this day would ever come!! I cant wait what is coming next, thanks a lot!!
Thank you! I will make longer videos, this is more an introduction course to Troll School. I will try to post monthly with ok quality and hopefully inspiring content.
Wow, i could not imagine i going to see you on RUclips. You were a myth or legend for me, can’t believe I’m seeing tutorial videos from you! 🥳🥳🥳 What you have done for Black Metal will always shine bright in the coming times! 🤘🏻
Thank you so much for taking the time post these. I'm only on the first video so far and my tremolo picking has already improved. No one has ever told me to loosen my picking hand like that. Lastly, thank you for all of the great music you've made over the years. You and Quorthon are my guitar idols
I’ve already written a good riff based on the chord shape in the thumbnail (grymyrk 1.) For whatever reason, that was all I needed for a little inspiration.
This is pure gold!! Nice to see some modules in the backround, would be nice to see some modular skills too! big support to one of my biggest inspirations in my life as an electronic music producer!!!! ill take this valid info for my next track :D (if u dont mind XD)
Haha! All Parkinson's should play instruments, maybe drums and bass is easiest. I have a familiar tremor thing but I don't think this is due to my intentional riffing tremor. It's pretty hard to control, I often mess it up myself. Especially when playing subsequent strings.
I'm looking forward to see the Stellar Master Elite tutorial :) But just one question, is there any chance for us to see tutorials from the grymryk demo as well? (I've been trying to figure out how to play Fall and the solo in Home for months, but well, I'm quite an amateur guitarist, so I didn't really succeeded so far :DD)
I loved the dry thrash tone Destruction used and I listened a lot to Slayer. When I heard Mayhems Deathcrush tone I was totally sold. I still like this dry guitar tone with plenty presence!
Compositions of early metal were all over the place I think. They still are and also I think they should be. In order to create enough variation. It's one of the main aspects of the quality of songs. Rhythm is super important, melody also. Then vocals and how it all is patched together. Sound quality and tone also play a role.
@@snorresschoolofdesktopsata1945 thanks a lot for your detailed answers. Once i read in a magazine that Voivod was also an influence for you. Is this valid?
Yes! Voivod was a great influence, they wrote interesting and good songs with more sci.fi. themes and used cool melodies and chords. My favourite album of them is Killing Technology but they have much more good stuff. Both atmospheric and somewhat thrash and punish.Great band!!

I know. -The reason I call it a minor is that the chord only has two different notes (pluss the octave of the first) in a major configuration. For instance G3 - B3 - G4. But when I play these on top of for instance chugging in E, they sound like minor chords.
The riff master of norwegian black metal.
Very glad to see the true inventor of Black Metal create a guitar channel.
Thank you! I will try to makte some "best practices" videos also about how to make music more interesting.

So Snorre, did you ever watch Die Hard 2?
This hand exercise for the picking technique was easy to do but difficult to control. Do you have any advice for parkinson patients?

Hailz Snorre, here is a Norwegian Black Metal promotion project in China. How could I contact you? Please let me know, thanks a lot.
May I ask...Do you have a favorite black metal song?
