My used Icom 7300 came with a LDG AT100 ProII AutoTuner. I replaced it with a Chameleon URT1 remote tuner for AF MARS operation. I didn't want to simply match the transceiver to the feed line and still have all that reflected power in the antenna system. The RTU-1 matches it at the antenna for maximum transfer of power. The LDG was limited to 30 watts digital, the Chameleon handles 60 watts, bonus!
