The other day I was reading the bible and literally put two question mark on the Luke 9:27 when Jesus says some of them will not taste death...and prayed in my heart "Lord what does this mean? Please let me understand this part of the verse " This video is literally an answer to my prayer and I am in tears knowing God is listening to the smallest request... I'm not totally convinced about your take on the Transfiguration. One interpretation I have heard which I think works is that Moses and Elijah both had Theophanies on Mt. Sinai. Importantly both had to hide their faces as they were not permitted to see the Lord. In the Transfiguration, both are allowed to see a fuller expression of God's glory that they did not see in their time in the person of Christ. Anyway, you do great work and I get a lot out of the videos, thanks.

The gospels use the word exodus to describe the work Christ was about to accomplish in this scene. Meaning the rescue of the righteous dead in Hades from Death, like the Hebrews were rescued out of Egypt. So he's literally discussing another exodus on Passover, with Moses.

The interesting part about Peter's statement is that he considers Christ as equal to Moses and Elijah, hence the same treatment of a tent for each. But the following moments, as explained, show how Christ was, and is, so much greater than the other two. Bonus: both disappeared afterward but Christ remained - this shows us how great servants of God (Moses) and even those taken up before death (Elijah) are not forever but Christ is.
So hear me out...we know that both Moses and Elijah encountered the Angel of the Lord (read: Jesus) during their lives. Was this a bend of spacetime where he had to assume his Heavenly glory to speak with them in their own times?

I understand you have great knowledge of the Word of GOD and this video is full of interesting information, but you should be more respectful with the apostles. After all, it was our LORD who chose them for a reason, and we should always remember that

The Holy Spirit just finished revealing to me that the transfiguration has a deeper meaning and there is an interesting background as to how they knew the names of Moses and Elijah. Then the day after, it was revealed to me its relevance to 2 Chronicles 9. Just a minute after watching a sermon on it this video pops up. God is getting his people ready. Wake up my brothers and sisters, the time is at hand. God will be here soon. The red heifer is being made ready to sacrifice, the altar of sacrifice is already made to bless the tools to begin construction of the third temple with the sacrifice of the red heifer. We need to be watching for what is about to happen and make sure we are ready to be raptured.
My take on Yeshua's Transfiguration may seem a little Sci-Fi, but bear with me. Moses & Elijah were conversing with Him. These two Witnesses' represent the Law & the Prophets. The miraculous Signs that they experienced are the same Signs of Revelation's two Witness'. Moses was 40 days on Mount Sanai Peak Horeb and saw GOD from a Cleft in the Rock. Elijah traveled 40 days on Angel Cake and from a Cave on Mount Sanai Peak Horeb heard GOD's still small voice. Perhaps the Transfiguration was a Time & Space Portal whereas Moses Elijah & Yeshua could meet at the same Locality in Time from their own Timeline?
Yeah I like to think that Jesus was actually physically talking with them in their particular time. It's much cooler that way to me. And I don't know any scriptural backing for it, but there are plenty of things we take for granted that aren't explicitly stated in Scripture.
Some bright points in here but the Bible clearly says it was a vision. Moses and Elijah were not there physically. At the moment, no one has a resurrected body like Jesus'. All believers from the OT and NT will receive their new bodies when Jesus returns physically.
Vision could simply means what they perceived or saw... The word vision does not make the transfiguration an allegory or an illusion, it was an actual supernatural event they perceived, and therefore both Moses and Elijah could have physically been there. Even if they were there only in the Spirit, fact is they were actually there.
