Gotta say. I love smaller cruise ships like celebrity cruise ships or viking. Getting invited to go dancing by the staff while in Germany and having 20+ staff members knowing me by name, coming up when they would see me off ship to chat and suggest places to see or eat etc makes it such a personable experience.

yeah with covid-19 here in 2020, the cruise industry is going to take a pretty hard hit I think.
when i went on the norwgian bliss and we were leaving the harbor, the Symphony of the seas started honking like crazy at us so we started honking back. everyone on both ships were screaming and waving at each other. it was really unexpected

We went on the Epic a couple years ago and my husband and I thought it was way too crowded. This ship would most definitely be too large for us. We sailed The Dawn and was very pleased with that ship. Guess were small ship kinda people. Y'all looked like you had a great time. So happy for you!

My first cruiseship. Deck 10-554. I was here last 11-24-18 to 12-01-18. The biggest ship in the world. I enjoyed it so much. I loved the show “1977” London British. It was amazing. Went from Miami to St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Bahamas. Your video reminds me about my vacation. Hello from California here.

Well I see some negativity in the comments about the Cruise Ship. Well its hella fun and its good for kids too since there is alot of places that kids most likely to have fun and visit. A cruise is all about fun and also for family bonding.

it looks like the room aboard the ship has split closets. that's neat for getting dressed.
This ship docks every Sunday in Barcelona. I live in a neighbourhood near the port and the air quality drops massively every time the ship is in. After a bit of research I found out it keeps its generators going while in port, which runs on an extremly dirty fuel. At sea, this dirty monster contributes significantly to climate change. In port, the ship does that, plus it pumps smog over the city it's in. It's frankly disgusting, and worrying as a have I small child who has to breathe the heavy smelly air this holiday factory emits

yep, those ships are massive environmental polluters, not to mention the tons of human waste they dump into the sea, I mean, it's not like the ship has sewage pipes that transport the human waste to a waste facility. Goes right into the poor ocean. Yuck.
actually on Royal Carribean they store all their waste like that till they get on land, then dump it, which is why the generators stay on, not gonna debate that it is bad for people and the earth but there is actual logic they use in that, plus I think the rules for a ship are port of origin and idk if that has something to do with that.
There is an international convention called the MARPOL signed by the OMI, and it's really criminal to break it !
It's true that the ships use bad cheap fuel but in port they use Diesel, in the port there is the port state checkers they will not allow any break of the law, and If you want some doubts ask them immediately.
To throw things at sea is really forbidden so I don't think that it happens specially with cruiser ships.
Wow, that looks fun boarding in the largest cruise ship in the world. And to top the list, the robot bartenders make it an A+ experience.

Just last year my daughter took a sea cruise from USA to Bahamas and back with his husband a 6 years old son and we have load of photos and videos of the cruise and now I look forward to se glimpses of your tour. I personally would rather travel on the Royal Caribbean smaller ships such as Empress of the Seas. The itineraries are more interesting because Empress can go into smaller ports. I have no desire to spend a week with 6000 other people, many of them children.

Just to put it in some perspective: RMS Titanic was 46,000 tons. Symphony of the Seas is 250,000 tons.

The difference being where as in a normal city everybody is just dragging themselves to and from work being miserable, this is a city built for the sole purpose of being pleasurable, not to mention any cool countries they stop by along the way

This year we are going to Greece or I would have booked the cruise for this December! I got the Dining package and one excursion so far but I'll be getting the drink package and more excursions soon! Technically, the Symphony of the Seas is only the biggest cruise ship in the world by tonnage. The Harmony of the Seas is the world's biggest cruise ship by passengers. I've been on the Harmony of the Seas, therefore i can prove it too
Cool. We went on Allure, which is shorter by only a few feet I think? Went to the Caribbean. It was fabulous.
These colossal cruise ships are the reason we refuse to cruise on major cruise lines anymore. WAY too many people, too many lines, too many kids, and WAY too crowded! We cruise to relax get away from all of this. In our opinion smaller is MUCH better - much more personalized service and attention from the crew and much more relaxing.

Dragon's Breath Creations you should try finland to sveden and back to finland cruises by silja line! super cheap compared to these, 2-3 persons costs 400dollars but first you have to fly to finland buut its worth it!
It depends, bigger ships have the advantage of more activities, bars and things to do. Smaller ships feel more personalised. It really depends on what you are going on the cruise for.

I've been on Oasis and Harmony of the Seas. Both ships are amazing and I would imagine Symphony would be just as glamorous. I understand that it may not be for everyone, but I never felt like there were "too many" people on the ship. It has so much stuff to do and the way the schedule their shows people are all over the place, doing their own thing. Personally, I would cruise on any RCI ship and I know that my wife and I will enjoy every minute of it.
