    Lintel and slab- 0.7 to 1 %
    Beam -1 to 2%
    Columb -1 to 5%
    Foundation raft
    Footing etc.. - .5 to .8%

    Nice one. And informative. But should we take dry concrete or wet concrete for calculating the steel? What is 1 Cum of concrete ? Is it dry or wet ?

    Hi thanks for your videos. Would you do full building structure analysis with checklist from start to finish outlining how to go about . Foundation, column,slab ,beam design with intro explaining the process as checklist mentiining which info from which civil engineering tables. That is say ten storey building and lecture series will be numbered and series with titles first video been the intro , theory break down, process lay out, and subsequent videos been titled beam design and analysis for example !!

    but this Qnty. of steel,which is as per Qnty. of concrete, for which floor, if building is G + 2 , so how it should be.
    another thing what should be minimum load bearing capacity of soil.

    1) this thumb rule for residetial or industrial..
    2) .15 percent but unit.. We consume...0.15 per cub. Met or cub. Feet??? Reply must

      its depend on you feet or meter but %age should be 0.15% of x-sectional area of slab.

      Subhash Kumar 3. 5 to 4. 5kg /sqft total built up area (including footing,column, beam, plinth, slab and underground rcc water tank and over head water tank. 6to8kg/sqft of total built up over 8th floor and above floor if any up to 25 stored.

    Its Wrong infomation dude
    0.15% for 415 grade of steel
    0.12% for 500 grade of steel in slab
    And
    For Column 0.8% to 6% steel provide

    Is it 0.15% or 15%? Similar things are to be checked for column as well. Please, check and confirm...
    0.15% is nothing in comparison to the whole cross section
