Every summary I've seen of the season so far has been pretty much making fun of Tua's injury to the point that you gotta wonder if they truly care about these players at all, I thank you for treating it like it was, a human being getting a serious injury out of his control.

The Packers going on a December winning streak and then collapsing to the Lions in a season finale was the most satisfying part of the season for me. To be honest, I’m glad the Packers collapse happened the way it happened just because it brought me joy and satisfaction.

When it said Bailey zappe was Brady 2.0 I kinda was not happy with that cause bro still has to backup Mac jones and everyone thinks he is good after breaking records at a division 2 college or something 🙁
Zappe had a genuine shot to nab the starting spot permanently it feels like, just didn't play well enough although he was decent
I will not stand for the Western Kentucky Hilltopper slander though 😤😤 D1 babeyyy (just from a significantly weaker conference than most players come from)
The main thing I noticed is that Zappe either had wide open receivers every play or his receivers would actually win the 50/50 ball. Mac Jones threw the same 50/50 ball but it always was incomplete or intercepted and his receivers never got separation.

Great season. Not a fan of the bad roughing the passer calls and there were some nasty concussion issues throughout the season but overall great year. I feel like every team had at least a few moments where they could feel good. It was interesting how many rookies stepped up big time this year including the many rookie QBs who all had their time (except Malik and IIRC Corral)

It was so funny to hear everybody cry this season about how their rookie player was better than Garrett Wilson and sauce and how they "Got robbed"
i'm fine with sauce but walker definitely should've won over wilson
@@eros.1646 Walker emerged later in the season, he also played with a playoff bound team and a good offensive line, quarterback, receiving core, and a veteran coach. Garrett Wilson led all rookies in receiving yards and played with a much worse offensive line than walker, and on top of that he had 3 different quarterbacks throwing to him this season, his starting running back was hurt, he was forced to make plays constantly to move the chains because no one else really could, and he was playing with a second-year head coach. The guy went through wide receiver hell with no ending in sight and still put up 1,000 yards so he definitely deserved it.
@@zedoggie3006 they both had good years and it wasn't an easy choice for the voters. it would be nice for walker to get the recognition via hardware but it doesn't change that the seahawks are in a better position with him on the team.
@@Spartan0430 I will admit it was a hard decision but the fact that Garrett Wilson was still somehow able to put up 1,000 yards while going through all that bs is incredible. I never said walker didn't make the seahawks a better team, he clearly did being able to run to open up the pass game and many other things is very important and without him the seahawks looked lost.
Honestly I didn't know how the defensive vote was gonna go this year. Sauce didn't have the statistical prowess of Woolen but he definitely looked like a guy worthy of a top pick in the draft one they can build around for a decade plus. It's incredibly difficult to be considered maybe the best or top discussion of corners right out the gate so kudos to him he deserved it. Not to mention Hutchinson in Detroit didn't have the craziest sack level, but he did a lot of things well for them with some notable INTs at his position (won Pepsi Rookie of the Year via the fan voting). Jalen Pitre wasn't always consistent in Houston but I think the dude has real potential to be a solid safety in this league. It's quite possible as he gets talent around him and settled in we could see even brighter days for him.
I know some fan voters were disappointed Olave from NO didn't win the OROTY award either. I'm sure I didn't mention someone who probably had just as much right to be in discussion but hey! I personally look at it as, there was no aggressively clear winner in either category but that competition was tight enough at the top to enjoy the results. Would rather have that to indicate the future looks bright for the league.
