If you are doing 100% free range, they recommend between 10-20 goats per acre. However, from my personal experience, I would recommend not more than 15 goats per acres and ideally 10 goats to avoid overgrazing. However, if you are going to do zero grazing or semi intensive, with proper pasture management, you can triple or quadruple the number.
