Hi. I don't know about mantra but I can say from experience that it is trivially "fixable" with just a bit of advancement in spirituality. Something just comes and addresses the diversion from its path that the soul has experienced, a disturbance that is responsible for the gravest psychological affliction and most profound, humanly incomprehensible pain. Believe me when I say that something much more central and older than the emotional issues will come in and it will take all of that by the whip and do justice to the experience of the individual. Anyway, this is just to impart some faith. I recommend going through this playlist on Bhagvad Gita by @satshree on youtube.
If not inconvenient, do you want to share your birth chart? I may or may not be able to see something I understand about.

Gayatri mantra is part of Rig veda.
The shloka is part of Hanuman Namskara Mantra , I don't find it in Rama Raksha Stotra.
It is Jitendriyam , not Jitendram...
The first word means who has won over indriyas, and the second one means who has won over Indra. Hope all understand.
