I think about What if Blue lock came out before Haikyuu.. I mean soccer/futbol is literally No.1 Worldwide sport... I used to play little men's volley and soccer but I can't watch that show... Imagine if blue lock was 2-3 seasons deep... I think it woulda impacted this world wayy harder/different imo
I liked the scene where they showed the speed of the play. Pretty good rep of real life high stakes matches at pro level.....Also liked the comparison of No.3 with Bolin the earth bender, since the guy is built like a boulder lol.
Barou is really like that put some respect on his name! And Rin is also really like that out here cooking NPCs. All I want is to watch Barou play on a team with Rin that would be legendary. My ideal team of 5 would be Barou Rin Isagi Nagi and post evolution Bachira once he gets more selfish
Season 2 already got announced, and there's gonna be a movie called Episode Nagi! I encourage everyone to read or just look up the manga panels! Omg each page could be a screensaver!
There is a movie coming out in spring, it's gonna be animating the nagi/reo side strong manga, (the writer of blue lock occasionally does 1-3 issue side stories about the other characters, I know bachira has one as well along with a few other characters) they help show what other characters are doing and fleshing them out. And season 2 is estimated to come out end of next year
The second season was confirmed! But they're making a movie first that's going to come out in spring 2024. The movie will be about a blue lock spin off called : Episode Nagi. Featuring more about Nagi's point of view during the show, i believe.
I always thought it interesting how every character's design looks like they can be the shonen protagonist of their own show, but they are just side characters
Sam’s face when Rin denied Bachira a high-five had me weak😅😅. But I don’t like seeing Bachira in disheartened state either ladies. Perhaps he is “too much” of team-player, maybe he should be a little more greedier. He might surprise himself.

You know it’s serious when King Barou hit them with the Frieza pose. One of the best sports anime I have ever seen after haikyuu.
