      Last year he was ill when he lost in a tight match against Medvedev on Wimbledon. I actually think he is very, very good on grass. He won the title in Halle. He has a serious chance to win most (if not all) Slams this year.

  • @Balkan-life

    Sinner will be far better player than overhyped Alcaraz. Sinner has defeated Alcaraz at Wimbledon. If you watched their Roland Garros match last year, Sinner was in control early on and midway through the second set, he could have easily been up two sets to love. A similar pattern occurred in their matches in Miami and Beijing, where Sinner started strong and maintained his level. Amid past doping allegations and tension, Sinner is now free of distractions and could become unstoppable.

      That's precisely why I also am not his biggest fan, coming from Djokovic-Federer fan, his personality is the most listless number one of all time!!! Zero emotion on the court rare if ever had I seen him agitated....Here is my two sense love it or hate it, robots are boring to watch, there needs to be drama, either dramatic play or something that forms the players character!!!! Sinner has zero personality and zero flash in his game!!! He probably is also one of the more humble champions all time, extremely intelligent as well, the hug he gave Zverev in the final was very very classy, and it looked natural. Love the Man, Classy guy like Roger but ZERO flash to keep my eyes and mind interested!!! Anyways keep going Champ!!! Sinner will probably finish with more slams than Alcaraz too, he is the modern day Novak without the tantrums!!!!💯🔥💪💪💪

      At their peaks, Sinner and Alcaraz are approaching the level of invincibility that Federer reached at his peak before his injuries as they can hit winners at any moment making quick work of any opponent. Sinner’s serve is what puts him closest to Federer’s level. Djokovic is more of a baseline grinder that will simply out rally you.

      Played for the fans…yeah, right…Those guys played to win, win big, always, which they did. Sinner is 23 years old and still with room to improve his craft. Hopefully, he will win as much as the big 3 did, but for now he’s just the best on hard court, winning in straight sets against the best out there. The fact he wins in this fashion is just proof of how good he is, because the players he’s been facing, including Zverev (congrats to him for the great tournament btw), are indeed top notch.

      Comparisons between different eras in sports are often misguided. The most competitive period in tennis history likely occurred when players like Lendl, Becker, McEnroe, Agassi, and Sampras were all active simultaneously. While the "big three"-Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic-achieved remarkable success, their dominance came during a time when there were fewer strong rivals. Additionally, these players continued their careers five to ten years longer than the previous generation, thanks to advancements in training, nutrition, and other factors. Therefore, it is simply not accurate to claim that Sinner is playing against weak competition.

    I honestly dont get or see the comparison between Sinner and Novak. Yet, people are steadily trying to force the comparisons. Sinner has long said his Idol growing up and player he most wanted to be like, is Federer. Just because Sinner plays baseline game, doesn't make him Novak 2.0. If having a baseline game is the primary reason for the comparisons, then 88% of the ATP are Djokovic 2.0. Djokovic's whole game is nothing more than a mixture between Agassi(offense, especially returning) and Nadal(defense). Djokovic literally started using Nadal's tactics of defense when he saw how successful it made Nadal.

    • @joyrichards1419
      @joyrichards1419 17 часов назад

      It's not really 'people' trying to force comparisons. It's Zverev who has actually played him more than once, so I think we should respect his experience and his opinion. Maybe Sascha never played Federer, but the point is, he's not the only player who has said his style is similar to Novak's.
