I use 800 DPI and 6.2% sensitivity (49.6 eDPI). But it feels too high for my shotgun flicks, too low for tracking very close objects with SMG and also feels a bit slow for building. I tried going higher but then I start missing so many shotgun flicks that it becomes unusable. If I go any lower building and SMG becomes a pain and if I go higher I can't hit my shotguns. The current eDPI I'm using is a happy medium but it's not perfect. Honestly I'm at a loss what to do.
In general, a low sensitivity is best for flicking (or click-timing) aim. But tracking and building is going to be easier on a mid to high sensitivity. To be honest, your sensitivity is absolutely fine and is similar to what a lot of the best Fortnite players are using. So I don't think your problem is related to your sensitivity. My recommendation would be to practice what you suck at until you don't suck at it. If you suck at tracking then play a lot of tracking scenarios in Kovaak's FPS Aim Trainer until you get good at tracking. If you suck at building then spend your time in creative just cranking out builds.

Bro, my sense is 1000 dpi plus in game sense is 37x and 36y! People consider it a high sense but for me it is so good! I mostly hit my pumps and my ar tracking is great! It doesn’t really matter anymore
That's quite high, but not ridiculously high. You could perform better with a lower sensitivity but you may want to invest in a larger mouse pad so you don't run out of space.
Since there has been a lot of confusion about how to calculate your eDPI with the new % based sensitivity in Fortnite, I have updated the eDPI calculator on my website to also use % values. Now there should be no confusion. Give it a try and let me know what you think :)
Your eDPI would be 880 with those settings. That's very high. A more normal sensitivity would be 800 DPI and 11% in-game sensitivity, which is 10x lower than what you're using right now.
Gucci Cologne there is no edpi setting it’s just an overall statistic of how fast ur sens all together is. U have a dpi which is ur mouse moving on the desktop speed if u know what I mean, and then ur ingame sens which u can change fairly easily

There is really no difference to your in-game sensitivity because your eDPI is the same in both cases. But your mouse DPI does affect how fast your mouse moves when moving items from your inventory and just general PC use (like browsing the internet). Most modern mice will be able to support any level of DPI, and generally players use either 400 or 800. Personally I use 800. In regards to your eDPI, 24 is rather low and I would recommend trying a higher sensitivity. Hope this helps and good luck.
You would need to half your in-game sensitivity since 800 DPI is twice as much as 400 DPI. So 400 DPI and 10% in-game sensitivity is the same as 800 DPI and 5% in-game sensitivity.
800 DPI and 12.4% sensitivity is an eDPI of 99.2. 1000 DPI and 6.4% sensitivity is an eDPI of 64. I would recommend using the second option (64 eDPI) since it falls into the recommended range and a lower sensitivity generally means more precise aim. You could also use 800 DPI and 8% sensitivity. It's the same eDPI of 64, but it uses a native DPI to your mouse which can help improve tracking. Hope this helps. Let me know what you decide to use.
Not all hero's wear capes 🙏 thanx ma dude u came thru & gave me a better understanding of edpi and dpi with what in game sense does. But increased to 12.5 then 15.4 but noticed skipping pixels. So i wanna try high dpi with low sense like benjy fishy
1000 DPI and 3% in-game sensitivity is an eDPI of 30, which is very low sensitivity. You would need 3.75% in-game sensitivity with 800 DPI to get the equivalent 30 eDPI. But Fortnite only lets you set your sensitivity to one decimal place. So the closest you can get is 3.7% (29.6 eDPI) or 3.8% (30.4 eDPI). Also, I would recommend setting your X and Y sensitivities the same, so that your mouse movements are consistent in both axes.
You're welcome, glad I could help :) Mongraal uses 800 DPI and 5.4% in-game sensitivity (43.2 eDPI), which is low sensitivity. Benjyfishy uses 800 DPI and 14% in-game sensitivity (112 eDPI), which is high sensitivity. Feel free to experiment with both, but I think your ideal sensitivity will be somewhere in-between. Good luck!

Mate your sensitivity is way too high like no one is playing on that sens, that's why you're missing so many shots, your edpi should be between 35 and 120, also I would lower your dpi to 800 it makes sorting out your inventory more easy. It takes your brain and muscle memory a while to adjust to a lower sens but as long as you have a decent sized mouse pad it's worth it Edit: I used to play on a crazy high sens when I first started but I slowly lowered it, I started by using Mr savages sens (I think 117 edpi) got used to it then I was playing on a lower sens that I created (96 edpi) but still I would miss easy shots and like you said hit hard shots sometimes, so I experimented with lots of different sensitivitys, as low as 32 edpi which was too slow btw, but I think I've found the golden middle (for myself at least) these days I play on 64 edpi, 800 dpi, 8% in game sens, my targeting sens is 28 point something, and my scope sens is 52 point something. I know in late to this video, and probably wont get a response, but I am confused on what you mean by in game sensitivity, knowing that this could be any sensitivity from 0 to 100%, I know this may be a no brainer, but I am very confused on it
Yes, your in-game sensitivity is the % value you have set in Fortnite. For example, if you use 800 mouse DPI and 10% in-game sensitivity, then your eDPI is 80.

Your eDPI is 97.6
uh is it normal for my eDPI to be 256
What's your dpi and xy
That's very high and not normal. About half of that would be more normal.

I have 248 and it's ok for me.
Im so Confused even with this new change can you help me my dpi is 1000 and my x and y sens is 24.9
24.9% aka .24 so you do .249×1000

Can someone tell me what 1,7 sensivity 1200 dpi is in 800 dpi
can i count scope and targeting sens using this ?
If only u know what was to come in 2020
I know in late to this video, and probably wont get a response, but I am confused on what you mean by in game sensitivity, knowing that this could be any sensitivity from 0 to 100%, I know this may be a no brainer, but I am very confused on it
Yes, your in-game sensitivity is the % value you have set in Fortnite. For example, if you use 800 mouse DPI and 10% in-game sensitivity, then your eDPI is 80.
@@kr4m683 ok, thank you
My DPI is 1600 and my x and y are 17, whats my edpi?
272
What do I put my senses to?? I got 52 edpi, do I change it to 52.00?? Because this seems so hard
What is your mouse DPI and in-game sensitivity?
