That is how I met John and Scott Gorham and Tommy Aldridge and Marco Mendoza when they were touring as Thin Lizzy and they played a couple of club tours in 2001 and 2002 and I met him after both shows and Scott and Tommy and Marco.Got a few different things signed. My jacket, both the Tygers albums and a Gibson Promo poster and a picture I shot in 2001 of Thin Lizzy and I had it enlarged to about a 8x10 and John and Scott both signed it when Lizzy played the same small club in 2002.I took pics at the 2001 show which was the first show I ever shot pictures at.I got a couple Sykes picks and Marco picks from the shows also.Got a picture with Sykes and Scott in 2001.

Sykes is a great talent, but his recording has been way to light, Blue Murder is an excellent album but the fact it never took off is more due to Geffen than anything else, so many acts on that label only did moderatly well when they should have been doing very well, I Love You, Sloan, Blue Murder, Nymphs? Christ, Even Neil Young dived low on that label...
@shredder1500 Hey man the tuning I worked out 4 it is EADGC#E Tuned a half step down, this might just be my version but If you need the chord shapes I used for it let me kno
Kris Law Awesome. I remember fiddling about in Open G I think it was back when I made that comment. It would take me a damn long time to earn that by ear in a tuning that isn't a variation of standard haha.
RattSnake Can't remember what it is on the record but live he used Db tuning (drop E string to Db and tune the rest accordingly) It's low but no open tuning just some lovely chords that are not standard for the most part
The more I watch TMS, the more I realize we only get the "politically correct" side of the hard rock/metal scene.....Trunk's interview with Axl Rose was equally wimpy.
Brilliant guitarist, beautiful voice - the most underrated guy in rock!
Paul Jones If he produces more stuff and put it to the front probably he will be the new / old rock act again.
Have you heard his new one?
