We have to remember what he was willing to do to a health inspector to keep his restaurant going. Cannibalism literally wouldn’t be far fetched….like at all
I think "cannibalism" is canon in spongebob, but it's probably just the non-sentient fish they eat. wouldn't be much different from us eating pigs and cows
All the fish are sentient. Even the pets are shown to exhibit signs of intelligence. Gary may be a cat, but he could be totally self-sufficient if Spongebob disappeared
In my headcanon, despite being debunked, I like to think that the nuclear testing in the Marshall Islands did create the people of Bikini Bottom, and the fish they eat are the ones from outside the islands.
Has anyone else noticed how many high quality SpongeBob channels came out of nowhere? Great video man I'm looking forward to seeing you at 10k subs in less than a month.
I don't think crab meat is the secret ingredient, I think Plankton knows the patties are crabs. Despite what the crew and creator said about vegetarian burgers and not showing fish eating other, there are a lot of jokes about fish eating other. The main one I think of is the time Patrick accidentally threw hot oil on a crowd and a food salesmen just showed up to start selling their battered, fried flesh to the rest of the crowd. The secret formula is a blend of spices and/or herbs that Krabs figured out by accident, he and Plankton were working on selling food together as kids, chum is implicitly just fish gore. The krabby patty is almost definitely crab meat, but I think everyone in universe knows it and the only ones who aren't supposed to know fish eat each other are the viewers.
In real life, almost all crab species will happily cannibalize their own kind - most commonly, they'll snack on tiny bite-sized babies, but also opportunistically feed from injured or freshly molted adults. Granted, this isn't unique to crabs. Aquatic life is brutal - tons of fish, crustaceans, frogs, snakes, eels, etc, have been observed not bothering to distinguish smaller members of their own species from dinner.
i was recently watching some other theories and i noticed how, in the show, they never call it a "burger" always just a "patty." Just thought it was interesting.
Patty is most usual, but it's been called both a sandwich and a burger at different points throughout the seasons. It's menu name is "Krabby Patty" however, so that's what everyone knows it as off-hand.
um...mr krabs is the only fish who can walk on land for a long period of time without a waterhelmet. I think that the reason everybody loves the crabby patty is because Mr.krabs is the only one who can get cow meat while everyone ells has too eat food with a similar seasalt taste whereas the crabby patty tastes like a normal burger in our world, rich and delicious without that under the sea flavour making it unique and thus very successful because its literally out of their aquatic world.
This was a great video, but there is one thing that fully debunks this theory. The fact that in the very first Spongebob movie, Plankton does learn the Krabby Patty secret formula and perfectly replicates it and sells it at the Chum Bucket. Not only does this show that it isn't some type of Krab thing, but that there is more to it than just meat (seeing how plankton always had meat). This movie also was supposed to be the series finale according to Stephen Hillenburg.
"Why would Mr.Krabs go to such lengths to protect just another vegitarian burger" You see how much people like it, if his main product gets out, People will replicate it and Business would start Crashing as the Krusty Krab is the only burger joint we know of in the sea at that point in time
Admittedly I don’t think this theory works in light of the fact Plankton did successfully steal the Krabby patty formula twice. In the first and third movies. If this was true Krabs would probably be in prison… however if we go with the theory that the first movie takes place at the very end of the series and the third one starts an entirely new reality… then yeah maybe this theory works
Yeah but even in this video SpongeBob's ancestor straight up ate at krab and created a shape of a Krabby patty. It's extremely bizarre that he allowed the episode to happen if that was the case. Maybe at first they did have it as meat but nick made them change it. Either way the show is just filled with contradictions to keep up.

The one thing I really dislike about this video is that the person who edited the clips together either found AI enhanced clips or made AI enhanced clips themselves to bump up the FPS in a very artificial and janky way. It doesn't look right since it takes it at a very literal 24 FPS, so things animated on 2's or 1's, or things with intentional large jumps for emphasis on speed, don't look right at all, because it's not generating actual in-betweens and just blurs the difference between each frame instead. Other than that, still a great video explaining the theory, and I enjoyed the commentary.

Krabby Patties are actually not crab, the shows’ creator, Stephen Hillenburg hinted that they were vegetarian. However, there is still a possibility that Mr. Krabs’ old molted shells are still ground up in the patty
I think the secret ingredient is made out of mr krabs himself. His limbs easily come off and he's too cheap to get resources needed to hunt other crabs. When he said "that's what I taste like", he meant it

I now just realize you don't really see any crabs in the show. Anyways, maybe you are on to something. Maybe the crabs are all burgers for the Krabby Patties. Maybe that's why he's so secret with the secret formula
Cannabilism isnt a theory really 😅 they literally have a scene where a food employee puts a for sale sign on just killed fish during the Fry Cook games. It's been in the series since the start but people just dont listen overall.

Nah the cavemen patrick eats all the krabs
The producer said it has no meat
Doubt, they are just saying to not cause a controversy
Yes, as he said multiple times in the video.
Ugghh Ꮶϴ jusko po sana may pasok na lang ako
If plankton figures it out he would probably say uh 911 yeah krabs is a canbiel
When Mr krabs eats the burger, he means it tastes old and crusty, like him, not that it is crab, it makes more sense for the plot of the episode, not some random lore he just spat out
I now just realize you don't really see any crabs in the show. Anyways, maybe you are on to something. Maybe the crabs are all burgers for the Krabby Patties. Maybe that's why he's so secret with the secret formula
Kinda sus right? 🤔
@@flixtoon_ And kind of crazy
I assume its they eat a sea cow
Also the fish technicly isnt cannibalizing because crabs are diffrent species
I still think it's pearls mom there eating since it would only makes sense due to the amount of meat needed for that many years
Cannabilism isnt a theory really 😅 they literally have a scene where a food employee puts a for sale sign on just killed fish during the Fry Cook games. It's been in the series since the start but people just dont listen overall.
The fact that the krusty crab is a crab trap
I love SpongeBob ❤❤❤
Now i understand why Mr.Krabs was portrayed as a crack dealer in Spongebob Hemp Pants, its actually the true equivalent of what he is in Bikini Bottom.
Also like there are non sentient crabs and fish so it’s not really cannibalism at that point
Everyone: omg! Krabby Patty's Are made of Crabs!
Plankton: *Literally Selling chum*
For people who don't get it
Chum is Chopped up Fish meat And They live in an ocean were THERE ARE FISH
In last Spongebob movie it is said that secret ingridient is Love, so it is nothing bad, just grinded lovers
i really wouldnt use interloped animation to get it to look smoother, it just looks worse
What if... it was imitation crab meat.... which is made of .... Chum.... actually it is ground and pounded fish meat... but still.
And he protects it because then nobody will go there anymore to get the krabby patties and he likes money more than anything so that would be his worst nightmare.
The reason that Mr. Krabs doesn’t let anyone know about the secret formula because plankton can steal his business
Stephen hillburgh clearly stated that the krabby patties are vegetarian
Cool Video Bro!
Thanks!
No Problem.
Is no one gonna talk about the episode where he said he loves the eating a food that has the organs of crabs
The krabby patty secret formula is spongebob
One of the writers said on twitter the krabby patties are vegan
I don’t believe it
@@flixtoon_ they did though
