Probably due to the fact that I'm still riding high from the excitement of the OG Smosh duo's reunion after so many years, but after hearing each of their writing strengths complimenting each other, similar to how Anthony and Ian complemented each other's strengths in creating sketch comedy, I can only see success.

olivia's humor is some of my favourite and you only get it if you get that she's playing a very unserious character. often times the comments that are confused are because they take it seriously and not for the silly nature that it is. the best way to enjoy olivia is to give her full control of your fun instead of try and fit her jokes into your own fun. i personally adore it cause it also makes me reflect a lot and i never expect to experience that from comedy. hope she does comedy for a long time cause i love this side of her a lot
Shayne is not giving himself enough credit for creating “Danis” or however his name is spelled (the “what is up player” guy), who is easily one of the horniest characters in all of Smosh.
That character got recurring potential, I like how it’s not entirely on the horniness that made it funny but the manner in which he delivers it plus the accent.

I always love how Olivia goes with these super high concept comedy with no regard for how she's actually going to construct the foundation for it, she just goes full steam into it and the humour comes from the oddball approach she takes towards making it up as she goes.
wow i love smosh, its like a big family! amanda is like the mom, ian is the single/remarried dad, chanse and angela are the funny little siblings, and shayne is like your brother’s best friend that comes over all the time and is always nice to your parents, makes jokes to you and your siblings, sometimes he brings over baked goods that he made for the family, yells at your brother when he’s mean to you, invites you to join the hangout, writes you sweet notes, lets you borrow his sweatshirt/varsity jacket… interesting how everyone fits into it so well!!

i really hope the cast gets to create an "i think you should leave" esque sketch show, even just a season or a 30 minute video. these ideas are so fucking funny they deserve to be seen by a larger audience. would be fine to even keep things low budget and rough around the edges imo, cuz that IS a lot of the charm, but a nice mix of well edited and thought out sketches alongside rhe ramblings of someone who had to write a dumb sketch would be just amazing hope to see more episodes like this and the tommy episode!!!

Shayne's sketch was incredible lmao. A lot of times "random" humor can fall flat because being random is the entire punchline, but he totally nailed it by making the individual jokes really funny and stringing them together into a surreal narrative that still somehow made sense. The bench press into the upstairs neighbor's apartment painted a hilarious and vivid mental image and I loved the 4th wall breaks. If he ever decides he wants to get out of acting I think he would have a promising career writing on a sketch comedy series.
I would love a smoshpit theater special that was longer than a normal episode with musical interludes from Chanse, Angela, Damien, Courtney, etc. while you switch out set pieces for all these sketches. I would genuinely pay money for it like Sleepover or UTI/UTM

Shayne's sketch was incredible lmao. A lot of times "random" humor can fall flat because being random is the entire punchline, but he totally nailed it by making the individual jokes really funny and stringing them together into a surreal narrative that still somehow made sense. The bench press into the upstairs neighbor's apartment painted a hilarious and vivid mental image and I loved the 4th wall breaks. If he ever decides he wants to get out of acting I think he would have a promising career writing on a sketch comedy series.
