My dad was a mechanic. As a kid I would play with some of the tools from time to time. One of my favorites was this long flexible thing with a handle on one end and a retractable spring loaded claw on the other end. It was used for picking up small objects that were in tight places. This Bobbit Worm reminds me of that tool.

The more I observe the bobbit worm, the less scary it becomes. The way this little guy behaved suggests he's used to these feeding sessions since he was willing to venture out a little ways for the dead fish, but still actively checks his surroundings and retreats when he gets too anxious. No signs of aggression from the bobbit worm either, this guy seemed pretty passive for the most part.

Worm was almost 5ft min in length when transferring person to person. The only scene i can remember is 2 people in a freezer or iced up wearhouse and the worm jets out of the mouth of the first person and ends up half way down the mouth of another person. The next shot was two actors wiggling about standing up while the worm was inside both their mouths...(And im pretty sure it was a practical puppet for that one shot) But freaky enough to scare the shit out of me for years to come (It made some weird noise to) No horror movie expert has ever been able to find this film for me (X-files was named a couple times but it wasn't that, or at least a creature that meets that description but looked just like this dam worm)

It's literally blind, but uses its five feelers to search for prey. The person used a thicker mouse trap, hooks and an empty water bottle to snap at the head, then slowly drag it out of the hole. Pretty neat, actually! ^^

Many people watching the video think the fish is alive, because the owner is holding it and moving it in a way to imitate a live fish, to entice the worm. Also, it's still called feeding when you drop prey into an enclosure, live or not. Thanks for the sarcasm though.
