Actually Bamba is called Bamba because it's easy for babies to pronounce!! Since dad is "aba" in Hebrew and the word is short it's quite easy for little babies to say the word Bamba! Also since the original peanut butter Bamba is in fact made from real peanut butter and is relatively healthy it's given to babies (who can eat them) to prevent peanut allergies! That's why Israel has one of the lowest rates of peanut allergy.

That’s not true. You can only get a really small amount of the snacks from this video in a kosher store. In NYC for example I was only able to get the most basic chocolate “para”, Bamba and Bissli and only in one flavor.
RUclips in general I LOVE how it brings people together, helps people make friends from all over and shows we are all humans... Its lovely how people put so much work into their boxes now besides the foods with their cards/pics/"manuals". Another lovely video!

I lived in Israel for a year studying in Jerusalem, and I guess because I was on a student budget, we never bought snacks! Chocolate, yes, chips/crisps, not at all. However in Israel chips meant French fries! We would order falafel sandwiches with ‘everything’ - falafel, salat yirakot (Israeli salad), hummus, tehina and CHIPS! A carb lovers dream! Those who wanted it spicy added charif. I can still taste it and I lived there in 1980-81!

I live in israel, born here, love it, and have eaten all of the above. I've given bamba to my American cousins and they say it tastes like peanut butter Styrofoam. Good on u for lasting so well!!
