Hello Charlie and the team, awesome video and great adventures, love flyfishing and the Trout were in great shape too. Thanks, thumbs up and greetings from NZ,, Tony.
Farmers and hunters and wood workers, keeping the fields safe , together with predator control and the artisans making the fine guns and great ammo is a joyful respect for the fine way of life .
I had my first experience of pike fishing this morning. I am not an angler but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I went with a friend who has been out with me deer stalking a few times. It was nice to try something different, even if we didn't actually catch anything. I would certainly go again if asked.
"Such a unique and fascinating episode! 🐦⛳ The combination of fieldsports and the golf course setting is so creative and refreshing. 🌿✨ Loved the storytelling and the amazing visuals-great work as always! 🌟👏"
Sir Jim won the Fieldsports Channel shoot filming prize at our GWCT drinks party at last years Gamefair he bought a £20 ticket, we are very grateful to Charlie for donating the prize
I would try steel shot on clays, but a the moment steel (even with plastic wads) are more expensive than lead. And the numbers you shoot on clays, the price matters.
There are other alternatives to non toxic. I load my own and use nontoxic but my old guns are not proofed for steel and it would be a great shame to see some superb old guns over 100yrs old being scrapped because they cannot shoot steel.
Listen to this nonsense " if it wasn't for shooting there would be no wildlife around"😂😂 and all the gun wielders believe this because they are addicted.
@@Johnsmyth1 And you will find millions of educated people disagree with them also. Not all who support shooting own firearms but they still let others have their choice to do it .
@kwakamonkey your exaggerated figure in support of ending a life for fun shows you are even more gullible than the sheep I mention who believe this muck.
Modern hunters are the first degree preservationists, and that's an undisputable fact. The amount of money reinvested in the maintenance of hunting grounds and game species support contributes more to the wildlife than any WWF donation.

@@Johnsmyth1why are you even here,🤷🏼
@peterroberts9918 why are you reading my comment and then answered 🤷
@ your comment makes no sense, find yourself a hobby,👍
@peterroberts9918 And your comment is typical of a blinkered gun wielder,I have many hobbies as you call them ,none of them end a life for fun.
Great show this week. Excellent films on shooting and winter trout fishing.

You don’t require large shot especially for 30’40 yard birdies
Where's Charlie this week?!?
Aha... good botany. Florida, on my way to Nashville for the SCI Convention. / Charlie

It's only nonsense in your opinion which you are welcome to have .
@kwakamonkey I think you will find millions of other people have the same educated opinion and don't fall for this biased nonsense.
