Thank you very much, yes only taxis and buses can travel on the tram lane, but here in Italy unfortunately many people (especially in the south) do not respect these types of prohibitions and are never fined or penalized (even if they should), I don't know how it works in Australia and one day I will come to find out but in Italy unfortunately this kind of thing is "normal". 🇮🇹
@@Mezziditrasportochannel interesting situation in Rome. You know here in Melbourne we have the world's biggest and maybe oldest tram network: 250km+ of double track ? Only the bus can can also go in the dedicated tramways- usually because there are roadworks or derailments. On many narrow roads though, the tram---lane is shared with all traffic. Some tramlanes have peak hour restrictions though for cars and taxi. There are many rules and types of pedestrian boarding points -very confusing for tourists 😵.
