A brief history of the Fokker F27 Friendship and VH-TQN

VH-TQN, is one of two Fokker F27 Friendship's currently on display at Hars Aviation Museum near Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Both being flown to Hars in 2018 after carrying mail and freight for New Zealand Post. Built in 1985, VH-TQN started life in the USA with Midstate Airlines, and had many owners before arriving in New Zealand in 1998.
The Fokker F27 Friendship is a turboprop airliner which was developed during the early 1950s, and initially manufactured by Fokker, one of the main Dutch aircraft manufacturers.
