Yes the main focus of this channel is medieval time period, star wars and a sprinkling of pirates (still didn’t start pirates yet but got one planned after the next moc)
I really appreciated this video, it gave me ideas for my own projects. I was looking for a video I haven’t seen already and this was really neat. another thing you could add around the blacksmith could be a well to avoid empty space on either side of the blacksmith, near the the workers or on the opposite side. great work 👏
Fantastic. When I saw it that close to the river I was honestly expecting you to have a water wheel powered trip hammer. Layout looks great so far and I’ll look forward to the next part. Subbed.
That's a great idea! Might do something like that in the future, for now I don’t want to drag this on too long because I’m focused on building up a broad library of mocs for different themes before I start bigger mocs
This is such a great build and video!🔥It's really cool that you're able to show the entire process! I wish I had enough space to do more rural areas and natural landscaping, especially after watching this build! Can't wait to see the final result!
awesome video and build, I am building a matching harbour for the blacksmith and after seeing your video, I have a few new ideas for the surrounding landscape as this looks so cool. Keep on building, you deserve more followers !
I really wanted to do it, but decided not to because when I do these dioramas I want to add my own elements to it rather than just doing surrounding landscape. For Rivendell I would need to buy a second set to have specific piece types and colours (such as the printed tiles) to do additional buildings since there is very little variation in styles of buildings at Rivendell. I don't know how far Lego will go with LOTR so I didn't want to risk it. I really hope they will go all the way with LOTR and bring out many sets, I'd love to do LOTR Mocs. I pray everyday for that! 😂
This video is awesome because I was thinking of doing something similar. Using all my favorite medieval lego buildings and funwhole buildings to make a mini castle area. With soft hills and farmland. Nothing insane because Im a noob and I just have a garage.
But basically using all sets I enjoy (literally probably 3 or two) and doing more moc on the land around it. Neat video! I really enjoyed this one. Its different from other mocs Ive seen.
The bigger the garage the bigger the MOC! Do it, you'll have a blast. Lego building really clears your mind since there's so many things to think about eg. geometry, dimensions, creativity, etc, that you forget all your life problems.

Thanks, I have considered it but I think system looks better in timelapses, I also think that it would be easier for viewers to visualize the scale of what I am building using just the system scale instead of having 2 different scales of bricks, which should create a better viewing experience.
I just found you channel, watched the past videos and subscribed. Being fairly new to Lego, seeing your techniques used in the beginning of the build is very interesting. Have you considering doing a video that is not time-lapsed on these early build techniques? In this video, can the 48x48 sections be separated, or does the layers you added on top of the olive green section span the joints, thus making it one giant structure? It looks like it is one 96x96 structure completed.
It’s all one piece since i wont be transporting it anywhere. Many have requested I do a tutorial which I probably will in the future once the library of mocs i am building is more complete. Thanks for subscribing!
Bought them online, here in southeast asia’s version of amazon but they stopped making them already though so I had to transition to the clear ones which are like 4x the price
Beautiful! Subscribed👍 Btw, what camera mount do you use to get those gorgeous moving timelapse shots? Maybe put a list of camera equipment in the description? Thnx!
Thanks! I used the zeapon micro 3 with a pons pt head attached, you need both systems because the camera has to slide but fix its point of focus at the same time. Make sure you watch plenty of reviews about it because there are limitations eg. once you start you cant pause and continue, theres only restart so you have to be sure about what you will do once it starts and that you won’t need to go to the toilet 😅
Please tell me how long did it take you and how did you manage (only buying sets or mostly buying specific bricks) to accumulate such huge amount of bricks? Serious question x) thanks
I've been an AFOL for years buying sets on and off, but I started to seriously accumulate pieces through bricklink, set parting and PAB wall for a year now. This happened because I have a leg injury preventing much outdoor activity so I decided to relive the outdoors through Lego. I used to be an outdoorsy person hiking, kayaking etc 😂
It's some brand-less stuff from online. But I can't find them anymore they stopped producing so I have to supplement with way more expensive clear drawers
I only use authentic Lego parted out from sets, bought from bricklink and from PAB walls. As for how much I spent, I have no idea, these parts are gathered over time and reused for each diorama I build, meaning everything i build will be taken apart and pieces reused for the next build and so on until death do me part 😄
@@1by1Brick stone arches is great with shops on top of the bridge and with medieval defensive tower! Check old London Bridge, Ponte vecchia of Florence, Rialto bridge of Florence, Merchants bridge in Erfurt! Check also Pont Valentré in France!! All this bridges were worth of a Lego set
Rest assured, no rabbits were harmed in the making of this video...
Are you going to do more medieval-esque Mocs?
Lol
Yes the main focus of this channel is medieval time period, star wars and a sprinkling of pirates (still didn’t start pirates yet but got one planned after the next moc)
Huuuuh.
lol.
Lovely start! Olive green, dark tan, & medium nougat are my favorite colors for terrain work.
Thanks for stopping by! 👍
hey goldfyre! fancy meeting you here lol.
ITS HIM 🤩
Wow, the terrain work is simply outstanding!
Thank you! 😊
Loved hearing about your design decisions about the river separation and angling the building
Phenomenal and gorgeous build, wish most Lego cities had this kind of detail work in terrain
I’m in love with your techniques! The way the terrain formed was just amazing.
Thank you!
This is fantastic to see. What a way to display a fantastic set. Will be waiting for the next instalment
Thank you!
Absolutely love your landscaping work.
Thank you!
This is awesome. Love the attention to detail in the landscaping.
Thank you!
Wonderful and beautiful ! amazing, I can't wait to see what happens next :-)
Thank you! 😊
you are so good at detailing i love that you made the setting around the blacksmith it compliments it so perfectly making it look even better!
Thanks! Yeah I used the same elements as from the set such as round tiles and colours to keep it consistent.
It’s looking epic already and looking forward to seeing further updates.
Thank you!
I love seeing/learning new (to me at least building techniques) some simple by design however unique and complex too. Awesome video! Keep it bricking
Thank you!
Your attention to detail is amazing! Love your builds!
Thank you! 😊
looks awesome! the terrain actually could work really well for a western native village too!
Agreed! I'd throw in abit of dark orange for that aswell
love it

Loving what you are doing!! Can’t wait to see the end result!!

cheer you up!

Great idea! I didn’t want to modify the black smith for this diorama though.
subscribing to see this, The blacksmith is one of my favorite sets and wanted to make a moc myself some day maybe
This is so cool. You should do multiple seasons of this seeries where each one you create a different module to add to this village!
That's a great idea! Might do something like that in the future, for now I don’t want to drag this on too long because I’m focused on building up a broad library of mocs for different themes before I start bigger mocs
Great landscaping, well done

Nice! Harbors and ports is something I'm really into, probably because I grew up playing Lego Pirates mainly
I've just gotten into Lego! I might go buy this set now before it's really gone forever 😅. Your builds are gorgeous. I can't wait to see more!
Highly recommend it!

Excellent work mate. I quite enjoyed seeing your process of building up the base. I learned a few things to try on my next Diorama MOC.
Thanks! Glad this helped 😊
very beautiful landscape building - nice inspiration for my future MOCs 😊

looks awesome. what do you do when youre all done? tear it down?
Yeah, I took it apart and reuse pieces for the current build series
pro tip: if you want to save money and time you can use duplo bricks for the scaffolding of the MOC because they are compatible with each other

it looks great but make the place where the blacksmith is more rocky and less flat with a very steep path where people can go to the river
Epic!
Where do you get your bricks to make these kinds of builds? Looks awesome!

new to the channel, so apologies if this has been asked or answered before. What are the 3 drawer storage containers you are using?
It's some brand-less stuff from online. But I can't find them anymore they stopped producing so I have to supplement with way more expensive clear drawers
Could u do a tutorial on ther terrain
Sure! But it won’t be for a while. Focused on building up a solid library of Mocs for now, theres still a few themes I haven’t covered yet.
What kind of bricks to the terrain and how much spent in that?? Lego or any other white brand?
I only use authentic Lego parted out from sets, bought from bricklink and from PAB walls.
As for how much I spent, I have no idea, these parts are gathered over time and reused for each diorama I build, meaning everything i build will be taken apart and pieces reused for the next build and so on until death do me part 😄

Yes I only use authentic parts from bricklink, PAB walls and parting sets
