I can't thank you enough for the efforts that you have put into these videos and making me realize that, comprehensible input videos of yours were what I needed to learn German. Keep up the good work!
@@user-fw3vf6ok9f I'm still keeping up with German. I only do about 10-30 minutes every day, but I have improved a lot ever since I started it this year!
My new favorite word "krankenwagon"! I love how direct German is, stink animal for skunk, sick cart for ambulance.. It's a no nonsense language and it sounds awesome! lol I think the thing that surprised me the most was how the emergency services use the middle lanes to get through.. And that there are speed limits on some parts. Thanks for another great lesson!
I've been watching these beginner videos for a month now. Slowly starting to understand the words. Sometimes I try to shadow you. I understood all the 10 points.
I can understand you the best off all the German RUclipsrs instructors. I was raised in a German home. Spoke only German with meine Oma, she never learned to speak English. Both my parents always spoke German. I was born in Canada, my 2 older sibling were born in Germany before my parents immigrated to Canada. I’m not around German speaking people anymore so I’ve lost the ability to speak it. Hearing you talk German is wonderful and touches my heart deeply. Vielen dank. Ich kann es alles verstehen was du sägst.
I just stumbled across your channel. It seems to be I never encounter great channels like these when they're new. I am really looking forward to learning here and watching all of these videos. Appreciated!
I’ve been learning German for over a year now. I understood almost everything you said, I got a little lost with the traffic jams. I wish I had found you earlier, but now I think my German will get much better. Thank you for all your hard work and I’m thankful I can enjoy the fruits of your labor. Thank you again 😊
Your videos are very helpful in getting my ears tuned to listening to German. I know all the grammatical rules inside and out, but stumble with listening and speaking in conversation. Great material. This was a useful lesson. I've personally driven many hours on the Autobahn and lesser roads in Germany, but learned some basic things from this video that I didn't know. Thank you.
Thanks for the video, I love it! I like driving on Autobahn near Nuremberg, but they always do construction work so the speed limit is like 80 km/h . But in Romania we have like 1000km Autobahn in the whole country 😂
Just starting to learn my third Language! Vielen Dank. Ich spiele spanisch as my mother tongue. Sin duda, seguiré viendo su contenido 🫶🏽 Leaving this as a reminder of my start point.
I got a question - when you said 1932 - like in English how we'd say it as "19-32", would you in casual conversation say something like that? Like "Neunzig zwei und dreizig"? Just curious.
Ja das hat mir Ueberrascht. Its very sad but in my country India, the same number of people die in traffic accidents PER DAY as in a whole year (2015) in Germany. This number of 450 per day is likely an underestimate. With just 1 per cent of the world's vehicles, India accounts for 11 per cent of the global death in road accidents, the highest in the world. Speaks volumes about driver training and proper road design. As Elon musk once said, its not the speed that kills, its the sudden stops that kill.
ich weiß schon, dass man in Deutschland auf der Autobahn fahren kann, wie man so will, aber ist das nicht gefärlich? Was überracht mir ist, dass die längste Autobahn ungefäre tausend km ist.

Orbey, have you kept up with German?

In Spanien beträgt die Höchstgeschwindigkeit auf der Autobahn 120 km/h.
Vielen Dank. Sehr nützlich.
I enjoyed the first video!
Numbers in German is the most difficult part to understand for me . I'll have to work on it :)
