I have been without my arm my entire life. Honestly would love to meet a person without a and see how they live. It is something you don't know till you live it. I used to be tormented from people, it pushed me into addiction and made me a hard person. I've only recently became a stronger person from it. Awesome women right there!
Sir Ratch509 ,I was amputated at 11years, that's back in 2003,I have gone through alot!but I learned to move on, it's good to know that am not a lone, and there is someone CV out there who lost an arm just like me.i don't have a prosthetic arm,I learned to use my left arm since then.things keep getting better!
The reason it hurts and have sensation is because the nerves are cut and allowed to retract. Meaning they are still sending and receiving signals to and from the brain.
If I had my choices it would have definitely been a leg over an arm. Because of those fine motor skills with no prothetic to truly mimic the detail of a real hand sucks.
In so sorry that happened to you. I’m considering amputating my left wrist and hand due to injury chronic pain and loss B of use. How are you handling life without a hand?

As an above elbow amputee , I know what see's going through. Things well get better when she has her prosthetic sorted out.
How does it feel to loose a limb? Do you keep your arm exposed or like with the sock she’s wearing?
Does it ever grow?
I'm a writer and this is really helpful dfhlkjl
So just to make sure it's right, it's like sock, liner, other sock, prosthetic?

Hi
It really depends if you get an over or under the knee amputation, over the knee amputation is much harder to find a good prosthetic leg
I would prefer an arm, leg prosthetics are much more expensive and is more painful
Useless comment
