I simply turn the boom cylinder around to put the hoses and connections toward the boom to help reduce the chance of them getting snagged and busted. I have seen too many pictures online of people snapping these connections and hoses off. What do you think? Any issues you can think of with this?
Sadly no, I didn't. I thought the same thing when it came out. I don't think this was ever greased properly. I ordered a 250 pack of grease fittings off of Amazon and plan to install them this weekend. This bolt has a grease pin fitting that I will switch out with a zerk. Great video. When you pulled the lower cylinder bolt, did you wipe it clean before showing it? I was expecting more grease to be on it.
