I am both American and Ecuadorian, so this match means a lot. I honestly thought Argentina would win in the normal rounds, but Ecuador managed to tie it in the extra time. It went to the shootout as seen in the video, so watch and see who managed to win…
Also, it’s a big deal because Argentina won the World Cup. While that did go to penalty shootouts where they won, I still couldn’t believe that Ecuador was able to put up a good fight and take it into the penalty shootout.
Btw, the score is 1 - 1 in the normal round. Insane that Ecuador was able to do this.
