Well done, Dana. Player arrives with the look of a swing of 30 hdcp and leaves with the look of a swing of a 10 hdcp. That student is so athletic to change that quickly as well. Hats off to you both.🎉

Another great video. Thank you for taking the time to post. The videos with common amateur problems and your explanation of them compared to pro swings are very enlightening.

Great video Dana. Should you land left at the end of the backswing or when the club stops moving on the backswing then slam down & left?

Hi Dana. Really enjoying the new RUclips content, hope you stick with it. In regard to the movement of the left wrist through impact, do you find that the left wrist going into extension too early is more often a result of incorrect body movements in the backswing and through transition, or does the left wrist movement need to be trained indpendently to get rid of the 'flick'?

Many times yes. Sometimes it’s a undertaking of training the hands what to do. TGM called it educated hands effect.

    Hi Dana,
In regards to the top of the backswing, is there a general guideline as to when the club starts getting too long? Should most amateurs be striving for a 90 degree angle between lead arm and shaft? And does this apply to all irons?

I’d say yes would be a great baseline goal.. grip can influence this a ton also

i feel like when I try this move off the ball i sway really bad, is Martin not swaying here?

He’s moving about an inch and a half right before he turns to the top. This is why I’d teach differently for some people and sometimes make a more centered pivot. Depends if people are capable to do it.
