welshpete12 You are right - and that's because all the tunes in this suite are settings of dance tunes taken from a book published in France in 1589 ( 'Orchésographie' by Thoinot Arbeau).
This is amazing! It think it's how Peter Warlock may have envisioned it, in it's original form. Wonderful performance by all!
Sounds great in the wind instruments, lovely!
It's interesting to hear it in a woodwind ensemble-- I'm performing it in my city's Youth philharmonic string orchestra

They're recorders.
