    It has the feeling of Elizabethan music , and is what we used to call in school , smashing !

      welshpete12 You are right - and that's because all the tunes in this suite are settings of dance tunes taken from a book published in France in 1589 ( 'Orchésographie' by Thoinot Arbeau).

    This is amazing! It think it's how Peter Warlock may have envisioned it, in it's original form. Wonderful performance by all!

    It's interesting to hear it in a woodwind ensemble--
    I'm performing it in my city's Youth philharmonic string orchestra

    What kinds of instruments are being played here? Are they "epoque" instruments? Really intriguing!

      They're recorders.
