The year is 1987, and as the clock strikes midnight in small-town Gallows Creek, USA, former big city radio DJ Forrest Nash is live on air in what will turn out to be the graveyard shift of a lifetime...
In this horror comedy, you must solve puzzles to save callers from being hunted down by a mysterious killer. Where every call is life and death, can you save the inhabitants of Gallows Creek?
Unique 1st person narrative:
Step into the shoes of a late-night radio talk-show host - new in town and fallen from grace. The Police Chief is dead… so the townsfolk turn to you for help, as apparently you, Forest Nash are the only person in town who can run a phone line.
Real-time decisions and puzzle solving:
Use branching dialogues to interact with a variety of eccentric small-town personalities including potential victims and suspects. Explore your surroundings, gather clues, make decisions, solve satisfying riddles, and try to help each of your callers survive the night.
Retro Slasher setting:
Jump back in time to 1987 with this slasher inspired puzzler - explore an authentically detailed radio station and interact with dozens of physics-based objects straight from a bygone era, including a working cassette and record player. With a fully voiced cast and a killer original soundtrack of 80's inspired tunes from rock classics to synthwave!

I'm so glad you played this, I had tried to watch other RUclipsrs play it but they kept talking over the dialogue so I gave up... I know I'll get an excellent playthrough from you. Looking forward to the next part.
I hate it when people talk over the game's dialogue / voice acting in their videos! ( and when people wander off / do some thing else when they are supposed to be listening to a recording / voiced lines in the game. )
John Wolfe, Gab smolders & CJUgames are my favorite let's players honestly.
They don't scream or get distracted & miss important stuff.

A pure fun! Great dialogues, tense atmosphere regarding circumstances and very good voice acting! And the world around feels really authentic. I think you are very capable to have a good ending Chris!
This game is so detailed and interactive, and the dialogue and voice acting are top notch. I'm gonna bet on CJU to get the good ending (no pressure 😅). He's making those positive choices and, darn it, he's already _blown_ the worst ending. 🤣 I'm really looking forward to more mayhem and merriment with Peggy and Forrest at KFAM. Here's hoping we don't have to **sigh** 😆Guess That Scream for real.

I LOVE this, making a lot with "a little" and not saying the enviroment is sloppy or rushed or low quality. But there is a LOT of storytelling here, tense moments and scares JUST with amazing voice acting.
I love watching you so much that I have put this video on close to 10 times while I do work, just because I really like how you narrate and your not as tunnel visioned as other RUclipsrs.

THIS is the sort of thing that I love for indie games. You don't get this sort of thing from Triple A stuff. It's fantastic, with a wonderful sense of humor that doesn't at all interfere with the heart pounding tension and dread. Can't wait for the next parts!
I'm pleasantly distracted by the music played in the game! They somehow reminded me of Tron and the music my parents listened to when I was a child hahaha! GOOD STUFF AS ALWAYS! Looking forward to the next part! ❤

I got Firewatch vibes from this, must be the cell shading and dialogue. The protagonist also sounds similar but I don't think there's any connections. Different developers. Enjoyable and very well put together.

Fun game, really. Has some Firewatch vibes. Personally I'd ring up known veterans and deputize them in the name of Kasey Kasem and send them out.

I felt so stressed as he walked around the station looking for that car-magazine, but I presume that time really does stop and there's no real pressure to hurry things up unless you run into one of those choices with an explicit time limit?
This game is soo cooooollll!!! Some refreshing stuff! BTW the instruction on hotwiring the car was no 7 in the sense there is no number 7 not the number 7.

There is no way on God's green earth that Chris' British cool in the face of monsters, aliens, serial killers, and impossible Things created by developers can be imitated by others. Reminds me of Roger Moore in the one where he runs into a tiger in the jungle just outside some bad guy's place. The tiger is HUGE. What does 007 say? "SIT! Big emphasis on the "T". And, of course, the tiger sits.

I think this game is such proof of how the details really bring a concept together. I can visualize a much less entertaining version of this game by some other developer (a hypothetical one I mean). A version with no interactive elements, no larger studio building, no voice acting (or bad voice acting), no personality consistency among characters, etc. All these touches come together to really make something to get invested in. I love when games like this give you an overwhelming task - "save the town from a serial killer as a radio host" - but in practice it all comes together into a smooth and satisfying operation that makes you feel capable and smart.
Also, in the prologue, I think you were playing the Sherriff or Deputy. And they picked up a very familiar mug from a certain radio station just before they were attacked...hm.
