My booboo kitty is having kittens, they're always magical. I'm in Florida and have a pride of highly socialized and usually specialized, I image 2 them when I talk, my partner says that at least. I can do it with most sensitive animals. It's a gift I've always had and my mother as well. Grew up Cajun, ran the bayou, brought home creatures all the time. Finally entered out to a jumping spider she's the bomb.❤❤❤

I have three girls and one boy the boy chose me. The cat distribution system heard me say one day I wish I had a boy cat after grabbing three girls from the outside colony that I used to care for. So he came and he walked into my apartment and that was it I couldn't get him out and I was told that he picked me and I had to keep him. And he is my gentle boy no nails when he touches me tap tap tap very litely on my leg when he wants my attention and when I was at my lowest recently and I was at my blackest recently where I thought of giving up he walked in the room and looked at me and I knew I had a reason for living. I saved their life and they saved mine

I have just one furbaby. But I worked an extra 6 hrs at work because I needed to earn money to buy my precious little one medicine because she has developed health issues. I was bone tired. But when I finally got home, Miss Whiskerson met me at the door and we ate dinner together, I baked fresh chicken for us BOTH. I would do anything for my angel. Her pain is my pain. She curls up beside me when I am sad or sick. She and I have weathered many a storm. During the Pandemic when stores closed, no jobs and everybody closed up- I ventured out and gathered unused supermarket newspaper from recycle piles; I took them home and shredded the paper to refill Whiskey Baby's litterbox. We shared cans of tuna and drank fresh chicken broth. I only ate food that I knew we could both eat. She shadowed me where ever I went even if it was just to the laundry room. Its just me and my cat. And I am so happy with this blessed lifestyle of Peace, Independence and Solitude.

I once had a cold and asked my friend at school if I could go to her house to lie down because it was close by. I layed down at her couch and her black cat came to me and curled up on my chest. I usually get really bad throat infections when I get sick. And this cat layed down on my chest around my neck and started to purr... I fell asleep and after two hours I woke up and the pain was gone.
That little cat healed me with their warm body, their purring and a bit of magic.

    • @Proudinfidel25
      @Proudinfidel25 3 months ago +6

I heard that the vibrations of their purr is how they heal when they are wounded and it does the same thing for hoomans, cats physically help hoomans heal, no other animal does this. I relate because my cat helped me recover from stage 4 cancer and a major stroke. Much love and respect ✌🏼❤

Six rescue cats that are cherished members of the family. One of our boys was so badly abused (repeatedly kicked and hit) it took nearly 2 years before he would let me go near him without flinching in fear. Another year and I can pick him up for cuddles. A few months after that he seeks me out to sleep next to but remains very wary of other people.
Over 3 years to win his trust but every day was worth the wait to eventually have a lovely, friendly purr machine. He’s now safe and loved forever.

I am both a dog and cat person. When I was younger and single I had 5 cats. Cats are a lot less maintenance than dogs. But once I moved in with my spouse we have had dogs for 40 years but always have one or two cats.
People who think dogs and cats can’t get along it’s not true. As long as they are young when introduced they actually can become the best of friends.
Cats to me are very intelligent. They are stoic, they love you but in their terms. A dog shows you all their emotions. I love cats and I love dogs. I just love fur babies. They both have enriched my life in so many ways.

After all my animals passed, I swore off any more. I wanted freedom. Then I felt lost b/c I had no one to take care of. I acquired a dog who became my emotional support animal. Then I acquired a cat from a friend who was moving away. Then I acquired a cat AND dog from a friend who was passing. After that I took all the animals and moved across country to start anew. Then a very pregnant cat mewed to come in on a cold winter night, but was too scared.I was leaving food and water out for her. Then one day she brought all her babies to the porch and put them in a dog kennel I had out there. While all this was going on 2 stray cats started showing up for dinner that turned out to be baby daddies before I could get the females fixed. 17 cats later, I found homes for all of them but 2 I kept. Now I just have 4 cats in the house and still feeding the strays. My neighbors have commented the rodent population is down. Guess they'll stay so they can earn their keep.

If it makes you laugh, I also got divorced after 30+ years of marriage. I got cancer and my husband divorced me to go live with a girl who is the same age as our son.
I should have just stuck with cats all along!

@anniethemese1215Annie, he sounds like scum. Are you still in treatment for the cancer? I don’t know how old my exes girlfriend is. He is 75 years old and she will have to put up with him, not me. I’m happy on my own. I’m not sure when or if I will date again. I love how peaceful and quiet my home is now. I put a cover over my couch to keep hair off and later I noticed a lump. Yep, Benji was under the cover waiting to spring out and ambush Jax. ❤ I pray your cancer is cured. I’m praying for you and I am here if you want to talk. ❤

I have 3 orange tabbies and they're always around. One got really sick earlier this year and I was crying so much, just praying for him to recover. He had lost so much weight, just skin and bones 😢 Just when I was calling to find a way to euthanize him, he started eating again, slowly recovering.... It was truly a miracle

Tortitude! We had a tortie when my son was born. She adopted him, would only let me and his father near, slept in his crib and put up with boisterous toddler love. Oh how she adored him.
I am glad to have raised a cat person.

A remarkable farm cat adopted me when I was a toddler. Having an attachment to a cat at such a young age was a privilege and formed part of my character. She was very patient allowing me to carry her, put her into my toy pram and otherwise torment her. When she had kittens I was allowed to come and play with them. I do not ever remember her hissing or scratching although he she did flick her tail - a warning I was oblivious of (!) That cat taught me a lot - it is only in recent years watching videos such as these I realise that not everyone is so lucky and what I take for granted is something others have to figure out as adults.

I am more like a cat personality than dog. I grew up dog at 20 years old I discovered cats and for 28 yrs I rescue rehome feed vet spay neuter and plain old love relate and have patience with cats. I cry/sob every time I lose a feral or a inside fur child I am so depressed and devastated, destroyed… and yet I continue to do it. I am a sensitive Empath and cats just get me better but all animals including wild life seem to enjoy me and my aura

A small, furry animal with a brain the size of a pea who is sometimes distant and hard to ‘read’ can take over your life totally and cause utter devastation when they pass. This is my experience and I’ve never recovered from those I have lost. Sadly only one human in my life has ever had this effect.
