One point of correction: you mention on his passive that it increases his crit dmg per stack but it actually increases overall dmg by 3%

Boozor! Did you check if Cursed set damage will proc towards his passive? If Warmaster does, i imagine cursed set would too!

Thanks for the testing Boozor. It makes the decision making on my part easier seeing I can't go for both Thor and Freyja. I'm still on the fence though, but I have the ammo for when I pull the trigger.

This is the kind of testing I love. not just oh hey guys let's check the dmg with insane gear and the best supports in the game all in one team to show max dmg. Btw, too bad they didnt release his kit a bit earlier. i got baited by Armanz and siphi and used all my shards there (missed armanz since i was on vacation). Not that I rly need thor, but he would be a fun addition althought i am sick and tired of all the grinding + we get fusions from shards so often. just today got timid the fool who thankfully i had skipped.
Two notes: the A2 skill reads an increase after the first target his. That means in arena with a full opposing team, the last hit will only have a 75% boost. The passive is not limited to increasing his crit damage. If you read the skill, it says damage.
Such a great video. I was planning on skipping thor because I was lucky and got Teox a little bit ago. I'm only 3 months in and working to build towards hydra. I have Cardiel, Teox, ninja, arbitor, loki and adelyn. I was thinking Freyja would help me more than Thor because I have no defense up, shield or provoke in my roster. But dang, I was already thinking about the Teox + Thor combo and then you go and mention it. Now I'm not sure what to do. No way that I can get both. Would love your insight oh great content creator 🙂

Will be going for Thor primarily because I love Norse mythology lols, but good to know he is actually a decent champ haha

Michinaki only has a 2* blessing, missing out on defense, crid damg, ACC/RES, and bonus dmg from blessing - i think that would make a big difference if it was 5* like thor's

I think 9p slayer could be pretty good too if he gets tm fill from when the passive triggers too

Tried pulling for Odin today. 1 x 10 shards. 2 Legos in that pull. Sadly 2 dupes. Raglin and Tormin. Do I have to say that despite Georgid, I don't have any other top Void Legos that are not "free" like Mithrala or Lydia. The agony.....
Isnt slayer only turn meter increase on the first hit? Makes it useless for hydra, correct me if im wrong. Also his a2 counts as a single target multi hitter so wont work in slayer ignore defence either in assuming
So, the thunderstack does not overflow. Were you able to test if this means the stacks also "stay" until after the entire sequence, as the passive procs after. This could be valuable to know, if you are at 9 stacks, you could ride the 30% damagebuff for the entire a2/a3. And if you are at 7, you could a1 and delay the aoe. I assume that since you cannot overflow the stacks, they stay at 10 until after passive (giving the passive 30%bonus aswell).

Warmaster in the first try didn't works because when spider dies it has no target to proc, so when it worked for you was thanks to the warmaster proc only on the big spider. Now my question is...what about phanotom touch?
I know slayer set would be hard because it would be 9 piece but it would be insane for this champ

Can't test bc no full set for me. But it's possible. Also his a2 I believe is not an aoe as well

Warmaster making his passive work is super nice. Thor will be a good damage dealer. Seems like he’s worth they hype.
IDK you would want to sacrifice the ignore defense of helm smasher unless by some other miracle you've reached 100% ignore defense through area bonuses and gear. You won't use thor anywhere that pure damage would not massively out scale a small max hp % that is capped low on bosses if you're an end game player - new to mid will still want warmaster/ giant slayer because their gear is not yet sufficient to do pure damage. Unless you're talking about a support champion with AOE, they would be served quite well by getting warmaster. Additionally to address your comment his passive procing with not make up for the damage you lose by not having sufficient ignore defense that his other 3 would lose.
@@wingedzer0 no of course we wouldn’t use warmaster on him. I was just making the observation just like Boozor about the passive procing on warmaster. All in all Thor looks impressive and wasn’t a disappointment like I thought.
I'm surprised you didn't mention Relentless or maybe Reflex and turn off his A3 if your gear is good. I do have a lot of Relentless Gear, just don't know who can wear it the best.

What happens with his passive if he is in hex gear. Bc we know hex damage is credited to the champ that placed the hex. I wonder if that hex damage adds to his counter.

Tbh he looks like the kind of champ that really needs you to have all the pieces to make a good team already. I don't think he's going to give your account a massive boost like Wixwell did for cb. Might be a skip for me.
All these CC's show this guy with like 7k attack etc doing mega nukes. I am not there yet in my account. It would be nice to see how he would perform with less OP gear, just to get an indication what he would do for people who aren't end-game. Thanks for the video though, very comprehensive.
It's relative. I compare vs champs with same gear or buulds on my roster. And he shines. Therefore he will shine similarly for viewers regardless of gear level. You just scale it down

I dunno i just don't think he's just amazing. Decent damage but only worth hype if you're midgame. If you're end game hes a fw champ.
Btw slayer set dose not work on his second skill so you will not benefit much from it

A2 seems to be a non aoe skill for hex. Sharing 10% and not 3%

Not convinced. He’s a great champion, but if you don’t have end game gear this doesn’t happen on everyone account. Not real world standards most of the players don’t have that gear, so

I know the gear ccs use is not doable in many cases. He's comparing him to other champs of same build caliber. If you can only make 4500atk 250 cdmg then run hard. Point is thor does as much dmg as some of the big boys of hydra at whatever level you are at
