Brandon, make your job easier by feeding the cows from the sheep snacker, we have done it with heifers for years. We ask the owner of the tack sheep to give the ewe lambs that winter with us a talking to about getting their heads stuck to no avail.
Yes, good idea- i will need to dig out the snacker and pump up the tyres! I'm sure i saw an advert somewhere for a new design of stock fencing that was slightly flexible to stop them getting their heads stuck.

Yeah, i've never had one with it's head jammed in like that! Usually they go for the higher up squares which are bigger. The ones nearest the ground are a lot smaller. We had frost this morning - i was hoping the frost would have stayed away till next month! At the moment during the day it's between 5 - 10C. Is it still nice and warm with you in Cornwall?
