This song is actually hard to sing. The notes aren’t technically high, but majority of the song hangs up there and it requires really good technique and training to keep it up there without getting tired near the end. Props to the actor. She did AWESOME singing this song!!

When you're in front of a play which is not from a musical, the actors and actresses use to vary from one to another performance their interpretation. It's just something common. In musicals happens the same with the text part and the songs. Songs, lyrics, are indeed texts with lot of things to act. There are several moments in this song where the actress (Christy) has to change from one emotion to another. The beauty of playing theather is this: the actor is someone active who changes everytime his/her way to perform texts and songs. Theather is something alive, it changes all the time and that's amazing and very interesting because you can try different things in different representations on the same lyric/part of the play. Adding effect :) you'll find that in live shows there's more pausing for effect than in recorded tracks :)
