That's so sad. I'll bet you had a really great collection! That's why I collect these things. They're a relic of the past, and it's so sad when I see them in thrift shops abandoned. So I make sure to give them a purpose again! Thanks so much for your comment!
@@BlooFosterNo problem. And the worst part is that my family gets rid of the old TVs that accepts VHS because they all want everything to be modernized. And they threw away all the tapes. If they didn't replace the old tv for a flat screen then I would've still had it longer. The old Disney commercials and movies were always the best thing I like seeing. RUclips actually has some videos of the old Disney commercials and I would sometimes search them up.
I feel your pain. My family threw out my old CRT that I had back from like 2015-2020. It also sucks that stores don't sell those anymore. Have you ever thought about rebuilding your collection? I've done that with quite a few films I lost from my childhood collection, and it helped fix the sadness of losing it earlier. Try explaining to your family that it made you upset when they threw out what you liked, and maybe they'll help you reacquire your collection. Just a thought. You can find most Disney tapes at secondhand stores for around 25-50 cents a peice. my favorite part has always been the cover arts on the cases. You can't look at thoes and say they're not incredibly eye catching!
