You can get the same look with Murrays the take a towel soak it with hot water , ring out the towel and sit on top you hair for a minute. It will create a wavy look last all day

It's much easier,when the hair is short and not too thick . My hair is now 2+ inches and very thick. Now it takes too much product to do a slick down. It takes much longer as well. I just mini braids or twist now.

My hair is 3B but thick and my edges are crusty, you read right, CRUSTY, NO edge control works, they just curl up in the direction I'm smoothing. Love that look and you have a very pretty face.

I have natural 4c hair and I do my hair the same way and besides that natural hair needs lots of moisture. When I do my hair like this it comes out wavey. Most men brush their hair periodically throughout the day and don't achieve the results I get by applying this method but of course men and women are opposite.

This was how i did my slick back ponytails. However it never lasted that Long . Like a day at best maybe two.
