Yeah, no Berba, Tevez or Nani. This was Man Utd's team: van der Sar; Neville, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra; Carrick, Scholes, Ronaldo, Giggs; Rooney, Saha. 4-4-2. Possibly Fergie's best team... my favourite one anyways. Every partnership on the pitch was amazing. It was a true team with no superstar.
@@davidlogan8905 Nah I'd argue Ronaldo was still the superstar of the team in 06/07, he rescued results on multiple occasions with individually brilliant goals. Hence why he went on to be PFA player of the season.

He was so bad the season earlier and no ManUtd fan would've been upset about him leaving in the 2006 summer, especially after also what he did in the world cup that year. But Ferguson saw something in him and convinced him to stay and he became an important player for ManUtd that season. He wasn't before that. He was still up & down in 2006/07 but certainly had a lot more positives than negatives, the following season he was seriously world class.
