Nice buggy, good work so far. I have this chassis that I have restored. I was given it by a friend 30 years ago as a box of bits and pieces. I never had the body, so I've restored mine as a Frankenstein of new and old bits and I have a Sand Scorcher body I'm going to put on it when I get up enough courage to paint it.
My '84 also says F Buggy inside the body.
The schmoo on the receiver and AA holder is the remnants of kit supplied rubber balloons.

Thanks 😊 that cool , will be nice with the beetle body , but no issues with the damper in the rear to fit with the beetle body ?
