Wait until I release the Q&A session round, it was too good, and this motivates me to make the architecture series live and take Q&A live. If you think this video is resourceful and can help someone then please consider sharing this with your iOS group
@CodeCat15 Many thanks for making videos and talking on such topics. 🙏😍 Can you tell for beginners how to work on an existing project? Because when someone reads something and goes to existing project then there is something else going on there so how to handle those things? Thanks 😍😍
in legacy projects one of the tuff things i have come across is lack of good documentation and code comments, although you may sometimes use test cases as documentation too but that’s not always the case, when i start with a legacy project then for a given module i apply too many breakpoints and see how the system is working and then change 1-2 lines and see how it behaves to that change and slowly move ahead making such changes one line at a time, so far this approach has worked, however if you are really stuck for more than 20-30 mins i suggested taking help of senior developers.
Yes, I think that’s important topic to be covered as not many devs or influencers talk about it and assume that architecture is just grouping folders and arranging files that’s not the definition of architecture and is a very wrong assumption of it
The goal of the video was to introduce the devs with the overall process of architecture and not to decide which architecture is the best That’s what I mentioned in the key takeaway section at 0:49 Sorry if you feel that this was a bad investment of your time what you are assuming is incorrect it’s not like what you want to choose, as architecture is not like flipping a coin and if heads then architecture A and tails then architecture B that would be absurd. I request your patience as this is just the first video of the series am planning for 2023 there’s more to come 😊

Hi Ravi, I feel like I wasted my time. At the end its like what you want you choose. So no outcome of the video
