That's a nice one! Thanks for sharing! P.s.: you want to wear your watch on your "weak" hand so you won't spill your coffee all over your shirt when you take a look at it.😉✌️

That's a fun "warm up"! Side note...I bought one of your Transition Rides a couple of months ago and I'm in LOVE! Got it paired with some 16" Sand Hats and it's just a beautiful combo of dirty timekeepers!

Started working on this today. For someone of my level, this is no warm up, this is an independence and accuracy exercise. I'm down at 50/60 bpm. Making sure each note is in its place and not rushing the double kicks. Oh and try adding 1/4 hat chics.
I'll be on this for a while! Love it

Awesome. And if ,…. If this were an appropriate format to ask questions, so then I would ask :
¿ Do you ( Mr. Mike ) still sell individual courses or .., or is it all ( only ) a subscription thing ? Then ( if ..) I would say : thank you!

I've always worn a watch on my right hand despite being right handed. Just always felt right 😉 that way

Definitely doing this one. The hi hat will be the hardest part for me but it will be worth it. Thanks Mike! 🥁❤️

Mike! Thank you for this! It's a great warm up no doubt, but I've wanted to know the high hat splash thing for a while and completely spaced on asking you about it at camp this year! 😅
I will see about putting in some practice on that because I've always admired when people add that bit of spicy with just their left foot! It gives such great character!

I love that you mentioned the splash of the hi hat!! It was one of the first things I discovered when I got my first hi hat (I was 12 and I'd already been playing orchestral cymbals for my middle school band)
Thanks for the exercise! I'll be sure to use it!

That's awesome to hear! Ya, it definitely doesn't get discussed (or practiced) nearly enough, but it's such a practical skill/sound.

Great Warm Up and Exercise Mike! Like a tongue twister for the hands. It also sounds really cool if you play the mounted tom on the "E "of 3, the "ah" of 3 and the 4 and then continue as written. I did it by mistake by fumbling over myself. Now i just gotta work that hat part in...

Mike! I love the way you play the instrument man. I have to know the polyrhythm you start playing at the 3:23 mark. Pleeaase!? Is it a songo variation?
