Really sad news, Masque Milano is among my most favorite houses with truly unique and genre bending fragrances. His legacy will live on with each and every one of his fragrances.
R.I.P to Alessandro brun and my condolences and prayers goes out to his friends and family Great video and I enjoyed it and I'm going to check out both of these brands and have a blessed day
What a handsome and talented YOUNG man...the world is a little darker without him..But, how many of us get to live a life of creativity and influence?! To bring joy to others through your art- ? He lived a charmed life and he will live on through his work! Thanks for this video...❤
I was also shocked. So sad. He was really great. 😢 My favorite from Masque Milano are Mandala and Ray-Flection. From Milano Fragranze I love Basilica and Diurno.
I'm very glad I got to become familiar with Milano Fragranze. From Milano Fragranze, I own two full bottles of "Basilica" and one of "Derby": those are my two favorites from them. I still haven't tried anything yet from Masque Milano, but I hope try all of them eventually. Does anyone know what will happen to Mr. Brun's fragrance companies?
Too young. I have Russian Tea and (Homage to )Hemingway. I really enjoy them. I recently picked up a decant of White Whale after seeing your ambergris video to see if it's one that I'll enjoy. As to your comment about having perfumers return to make a second fragrance, they used the same noses to create the Ruby Line of fragrances. That is, Rasquinet returned to make Russian Tea Oud, Zarokian made Tango Oud, Dumer created Love Kills Oud, and Carbonnel created Mandala Oud.
Sad news indeed, RIP Alessandro. I haven't tried all but Tango, Russian Tea and Lost Alice are some of best I have in my collection, haven't tried any from Milano Fragranze I will. Thanks for the video Sebastian!!!
I love Lost Alice (own it and ❤️❤️❤️) and want to try other Masque Milano fragrances. Mandala and some others are on my “try” list. Lost Alice is my best full olfactory adventure fragrance; I love the entire journey from start to finish. So well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
"If you believe that even unanimated things can have a memory, then this must be the spirit of Milan." "Live your life at the fullest. You only have one" - Alessandro Brun, quoted in the Milano Fragranze discovery set booklet.
Have you tried "Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli"? "Naviglio" is of a similar nature to the Bvlgari, only "Naviglio" might be considered as more complex than the Bvlgari. Eventually, I hope to get a full bottle of "Naviglio": it's like my third favorite from Milano Fragranze. I already own "Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli", and I like it a lot, but I personally also insist on owning "Naviglio" as well. I've never tried the MFK you mentioned. You might benefit from trying a discovery set from Milano Fragranze. So far, their fragrances "Basilica" and "Derby" are my two favorites from them, and I have full bottles of them (i.e. two of "Basilica" and one of "Derby").
@regismonkton Thank you so much for your informations, very helpful 😊. Can you please tell me how derby smells and if similar with another fragrance? I found them in a good price and I am thinking of buying them 🤔 ☺️
@@perfumeenergy You're welcome. Today, I decided to wear "Derby" while talking about it with you. I guess it could be described as a rustic, galbanum-prominent fragrance. I detect some of the other notes for it mentioned on Fragrantica, e.g. the floral notes. I think it's unique, and I don't know what it's similar to. Some might say that its performance is lacking, but I find that it has at least pretty good performance. In summer of 2021, I got a discovery set from Milano Fragranze. It took me about two years to conclude that "Derby" is my second favorite from them. I like it a lot. When I tried them all, "Basilica" was clearly my favorite and right from the start. However, I decided that "Derby" is another one I should have in my collection, especially when I saw it for a good price last Dec. If you get it, I hope you like it.
Seems to be a rash of people in the fragrance industry passing away. I can't help but to wonder if they're all related to environmentally caused illnesses from being in the industry.

His legacy will live on with each and every one of his fragrances.
It was quite a shock that he was just 50. I wore L'Attesa all day yesterday. What a great iris.

Yes terrible loss to the world and the world of perfumery. Excellent man
Thank you for doing this Sebastian. I was so shocked to hear the news. As an Italian myself, I related to so many of his perfumes. What a tragic loss.
Masque Milano Tango is my favourite! I'll wear Panetone tomorrow in his honour.

Sorry but who is dead 😮??
I've been wondering if we were going to see a Masque Milano video coming up. Very sad that this was the impetus, but this is a lovely tribute.
Two incredible houses. what a wonderfully creative man. He will be missed. Thank you for making this heartfelt video!
He really was a cool guy. As a fellow guitar player, I can tell he was an artist at heart. 💙
Sad news RIP 🕊️
Sad 😢 just sampled Lost Alice yesterday. Really great milky Iris.
Thanks for honoring him. Beautiful kind gesture.

"Mandala" is a underrated sleeper.

I was also shocked. So sad. He was really great. 😢 My favorite from Masque Milano are Mandala and Ray-Flection. From Milano Fragranze I love Basilica and Diurno.

It is sad to hear that
I love all creations of masque milano
I wore Panettone every day this winter. I Love it.
Such bad news, so sorry for Alessandro... I am in love with Mandala and tango
So sad he past away 😢
What’s nice, he’ll be remembered fondly. I have Love Kills, which I love, as a rose fan.

So sad to hear this. RIP Alexsandro. I only just got into this house after watching your review last year and I am loving it.❤

Incredibly sad! So young! 😢Does anyone know what he passed from? 💔
Very sad news indeed. Wonderful tribute video to him.
Oh wow…sorry to hear this! I own FBs of Mandala, Russian Tea, Kintsugi, & Lost Alice. As an iris lover L’attesa was on my wish list
Sad news! i have and love few from this house Panettone Tango Lost Alice Madeline and one of my all time favorite perfumes Kintsugi
That's sad, I'll treasure my Panettone frag even more now. RIP.
Sad. The first niche fragrance I ever bought was Hemingway by Masque Milano. I later picked up Mandala and will wear it today.
He was a university professor too
The dedication video is a great gesture Sebastian! How would you compare Naviglio and CDG Marseille?
Very nice
Very nice product ❤
Sad news indeed, RIP Alessandro. I haven't tried all but Tango, Russian Tea and Lost Alice are some of best I have in my collection, haven't tried any from Milano Fragranze I will. Thanks for the video Sebastian!!!
Montecristo and Hemingway are two of my favorite fragrances from Masque Milano. Very sorry to hear of this great perfumer's passing.
Thanks for sharing!
Sure thing. Very young man.
I love Lost Alice (own it and ❤️❤️❤️) and want to try other Masque Milano fragrances. Mandala and some others are on my “try” list.

So sad.
Ribot from Masque Milano, created by Antoine Lie 💚
I am separated from my full collection but I’m planning a tour of my fragrances. When I get home.
This is very sad news
I have a big ol decant of Tango. Too strong and cuminy for me. And I just get the sense that the Masque Milano house DNA veers strongly medicinal.
Rip🙏
Would love to see a rhubarb video from you !
Rip Alessandro Brun, i just discovered his fragrances
Exactly! :(
About Naviglio when you say it's clean , I like aqua universalis from MFK . Do you think I would like this one?

Also, it could be described as gentlemanly, but perfectly unisex at the same time.
RIP
😢😢😢
He passed on my birthday!

Mines too. Life is most precious and Beautiful
R.I.P.
