For all the black people who do not know how to read and write and do math. You need to make sure your ancestry is signed into a class right away. Take the responsibility to make everyone is educated and it can be done. We came this far by faith so get up everyone and unite stop the division.

Here is some additional info from the Nearest Green Foundation website. "Records show Nearest became the wealthiest African-American in Lynchburg, Tennessee immediately following the end of slavery and one of the wealthiest men in the area overall. His wealth exceeded many of his white counterparts, which was incredibly rare in that day and age. But it was the excellence in his craft that allowed him to succeed in spite of his original circumstances." It goes on to say that the foundation created the "Nearest Green Legacy Scholarship" in 2017 to send some of his direct decedents to college on a full scholarship. Y’all don’t dare believe the lie that we can’t get along and be decent members of the HUMAN RACE. I grew up in Tennessee, my mom lives less than an hour from Shelbyville and Lynchburg. Lynchburg is just a couple counties away from the birthplace of the Klan. What a contrast! I’m ok with anyone being proud of their heritage or race but don’t make that centerpiece of your life. Treat people right, period!

Yet people still believe black people should not have reparations. I respect other people opinions. I will not become angry or disrespect someone for their opinion. I just believe and trust Almighty God will have the final say.
This is probably only one of many companies or businesses that were formed by the ingenuity of people who were enslaved.

I feel like it should be a beautiful holiday tradition for Afro Americans to make whiskey soaked cake and bourbon soak caked specifically by American based companies that have evidence of the use of slave labor and pour these brands into the cake as a symbol of there unfair unrecognized work so that it was not in vain.

A fallacy. Black people taking credit for things that they don't deserve.Call was the master distiller, he taught Green and Daniels. Distilling was invented in the twelth century by Arabs. There were eleven distillers operating at the same time, Jack Daniels was considered No 2. Whiskey was distilled in Scotland 150 years before America.
