I did this review in the best way I could. I tried to figure out how the strategy works but in this case I was not able to. There are no indicators visible in the chart and we do not have any (useful) explanation from the programmer/seller. So please be CAREFUL!!
I do not recommend this EA in any way and do not want to encourage you to buy it. But also I do not say that this is a scam since I just cannot be sure about this. Please do your own testing and make your own research. I would be glad to discuss this in the comment section with you.
After some more testing there are some things that irritated me, when I tested this EA in visual mode:
1. I was not really able to generate ANY backtest (default settings) that crashes the account. This is really unlikely for an high risk EA like this.
2. The EA ALWAYS seems to know the upcoming market phase. It trades either long or short for a period and then switches to the other direction.
3. I am not able to identify ANY repeatable pattern when looking at the visual backtest.
4. When I made a backtest in EURAUD (default settings) the EA did not open ANY trades.
Personally these factors really alarm me and I would really love to hear if someone knows more about this EA. My experience has taught me that if something looks too good to be true then it probably is. And also from my coding background I could name you multiple ways to manipulate backtests to make them super profitable.

Why be careful? Honestly if I was to to code an EA in order to sell it to many people it is only logical to not reveal how the strategy works otherwise anyone can code their own EA based on the same strategy and compete with you selling it on the market.
@@Eli-zg3tj Yes true. It is completely okay to not explain the strategy in detail. I just wanted to say that I recommend to test this EA carefully in the tester and the demo (or small live) account before trading big funds. But that is only what I would do and other people might think different about this and that is totally fine :)

@@Eli-zg3tj You cannot use it in a demo or live account but you can use all the functions in the strategy tester I think. Just go ahead and download the free demo from the mql5 market.

Thanks for the analysis! The concept of the entries is nice! Btw, when the balance keeps increasing while the DD is high, partial closes might be the reason (last trade has more profit than the pre-last and both are closed to reduce the margin opened and risk.
If it was making millions he would not be selling it.

i would like to say that the term fully automated trading is misleading in a way, regardless if the fact that majority of the user input can be automated.
To me it is unrealistic and the reason our EA's keep crashing! because we expect our EA to do everything
what we need is a symbiotic relationship between trader and their EA.
we need an ea that will at the end of a user defined trend, to say , "Trading completed, awaiting new user input".

I am also skeptical about the reliability of Bonnita EA. The profit made in the backtest is extremely high, yet the live results on the developer's profile are much less impressive.
I contacted him to ask why a lower performance in live, he answered that it's because he uses "differents pairs, different timeframe and differents news" but then why not use the same settings as in the backtest ?
There is also a lack of social proof and evidence: some EA developers have a private community, positive feedbacks or at least publish their live performance on myfxbook and offer free trials (not free demo of MQL5) but Bonnita's author don't. :(

This one seems to be using some sort of moving average for targets and bands OR support and resistance (maybe both) to measure volatility extremes. It reminds me of the "King of Forex" strategy that is run on the M1 EURUSD chart. It's surely a nice subject for reverse engineering as it's not some sort of scam, seems legit to me (a good mean reversion strategy). It surely is a better option when compared to most of the martingale crap you see in the shop. The best thing is that it incorporates compounding!

I think they can choose which time period to trade by using code, and switch-case it. Thats why it is not working with EURAUD, since they did not add this into the code yet
Hey Rene, I'm loving your work. This is about the Scalping project EA. I'm currently testing on Demo. I wanted to ask you if it's possible to trail the stop loss so as to increase overall efficiency. Same logic as the TP trailing so that when the trade is losing say, 30 points we begin trailing?
Thank you :) You mean you want to trail the TP? Nearly everything is possible with mql5 programming. But I do not think I will make any modifications soon. The problem is that I receive ideas for changes on a daily basis. If I add all these features the EA will be really messy soon :D

Dca can work wonders but you really need to calculate your max drawdown and make sure it can take a huge drop but still recover.

I've never seen a martingale EA NOT blow up an account regardless of the strategy or method used to enter. I've created over 200 EA's and most were not profitable long term. However, such EA can produce for several months even over a year before some event causes the EA to strain your account and stops trading if the code is using a martingale type money management.
I personally quit trading Forex some years back and trade only the Indices now in which I am very profitable> But not using automation just custom tools.

For martingale you need huge Capital and trading at very low risk....
One important thing is that you are using the backtest to test it. Some subscripters said it's real performance does not same as it's backtest.
After reading your comments, can you make a video on how to manipulate backtest? This may be interesting because we can avoid those mistakes when we know it .
Another thing is can you share with us how will you handle the crash of vps, metatrader ? When we go live, if the metatrader stopped for whatever reason, is there anything we can do? Is it possible to setup a backup computer and detect if the first computer metatrader is not working then the system will switch to a second computer to continue the trade?
Hey, I can put it on my list to show you how to manipulate your tests ;) The easiest way is to use a magic number for your trades. When the MetaTrader restarts the EAs can search for open trades (using the magic number) in their OnInit function. For more advanced EAs you can also store important data in external files. I teach this in my course. Maybe you want to have a look: en.bmtrading.de/mt5-masterclass/
You can hard code times of pivot, but you should also update the code quite frequently. I dont know whether there is a possibility of providing external signals to a strategy .

It’s possible that this EA has been back tested over and over again and they know when the periods of drawdown are on backtest so you can control the EA direction and entry price.
Yeah there are countless ways to optimize or manipulate backtests. Hard to tell without seeing the code :/
But all EAs don't give out the codes otherwise people will use it to make their own products.

What I can see,, it combines pending stop and limit orders in one direction and exit all orders at a certain profit. He's probably using an EMA for trend direction. Without a SL you can get 100% win rate, but it always crashes in the end when the trend goes too long in the wrong direction. EURSUSD and GBPUSD are good since the spread is low. The EA will for sure show another result if SL is activated.
Yeah for sure. But still without SL it is surprising how stable the backtest are over many years.
@I tested it in the backtester, how he avoids the final drawdown disaster without stoploss would be of great interest :)

Market is changing; this EA could be awesome on the test yet it might not so in real trade. And, big banks will do something if too many traders use it and make unbelievable profits.

Is the Bonnita ea legit? And profitable longterm? Is it true what the owner say from 1k to 3.5 millions?
You can rig the EA results even if using a 99.99% modeling quality. Just remember. I have an EA that can profit 20000% in three years according to the strategy testing using tick data 99.9% or SQ tester, but on demo and Live, it did -50% in a year

Frankly speaking you can link to managing site and put ea in demo and copy a reverse trade to a live account
There is another EA call Sun with similar strategy, but that EA creator mention in a small fine print that he "manipulate backtests to make them super profitable." which is kinda honest. when tested outside of the period he tested it shows how the EA actually perform (very bad.)

I tested this EA many times, it open 10 BuyLimit and 10 sellLimit and use very small trailingStop but it leave the losses trades until the price hit it again and it's very risky, first of all you should run it on very low spread other than that it will give you very low profit or it will not open trades at all, with high spread it gave me 150 usd profit per month which does not worth the EA price

This reminds me of KOB EA (kiss on billions) used to make 100% in a month. Ea price was 2k$, many people and myself also bought it, made good profit but it blew every single account after a few months and we lost all the profits plus balance. It was optimized to show a good backtest and somehow survived a few months on live also. Ea was eventually deleted from MQL5 and only the Author made millions 😐

Manipulation of EAs should be strictly prohibited and monitored also by MQL5. It is really unnacceptable that this could happen to a so huge public platform like MQL5.

I have a trading bot, and I applied this bot on multiple pairs but it opens only one trade on any one pair at once, it will not open a trade on another pair if the condition is met to open a trade. Please help me to set this problem.

hey if you devloped it, you need yo check if the way you count opened positions is filtered by pair and not total number in all charts. Also use the Magic number to filter out position counting so Each EA has it's own totals
i found something weird in this EA, when i backtest from 20220901 to 20220930 and 20221001 to 20221028 it opened 2 charts in the strategy tester visualization screen, the time frame selected and a H4 chart, however, if you select a period in 20220301 to 20220330, only 1 chart is shown in the visualization.
besides that, the trade strategy is also different. from 20220901 to 20220930, the trade stragety seems to open a trade every 4 hours. and only 1 sell or buy order is sent and 1 stop or limit order is sent every time.
but let's say from 20220301 to 20220330, when it makes a sell, it will simutaneously make 10 sell stop and 10 sell limit orders. this action wont happen in the recent two months. do you have any idea on it?

Hey Rene can you create a bot that is based on candle sticks pattern , which if I choose to buy it will keep on buying at a close of every bullish candle in a particular direction and if I chose sell it keep on selling at close of every bearish candle in a particular direction with a parameter of sell and buy, lots size , overall stop loss, overall take profit, spread filter, time and date filter, number of trades to open

What I think he uses trend reversal and trend continuation strategies. He has probably mastered the art of trend reversals using verified support and resistance, chart reversal patterns, and maybe EMA crossovers. Once the reversal is confirmed the robot will start placing pending orders in case price gets to a certain point it triggers. But if price continues to go in the direction of the last trade action then it continues in that direction. The rest is just mathematical logic.
Meanwhile can you do an EA with what I've just written?
Hey, do you mean what you wrote in this comment? That is not an easy task. Especially support and resistance levels are often interpreted by a human trader. It is hard to find a working set of rules for this...
Pls can you do an EA that opens a certain number trades after a candle closes. (example if I select buy then the robot should open a position(s) after every buy candle closes and will do nothing if it's a sell candle. If I select SELL then the robot should open a position(s) after any candle closes as red(sell). The parameters table should have a drop-down menu were I choose either to sell or buy, should have the number of positions the robot should open per time, lot size, maximum spread to consider, something called global take profit (a set point/pips were the market will get to and close all trades). Also a global stop-loss, the robot should also have a close all trades button.
Please can you make this EA for me?

@ why hard tak, you can get data about price from D1 graph or W1 graph and process that like super high levels where is potencial to reverse trend. when you connect them with divergence for example in time frame H4 or H1 then it is top, i think. he place orders to buy or sell not like in few days he change buy to sell, then in my opinion is is using D1 or W1 or MN trend direction maybe also fib levels to get that data for potential looong trend reversal.

Hey Rene I just opened a mt5 demo account with icmarket and uppon trying to do a backtest it tells me in the journal section that there is no data,no matter what pair I tried to test. Do you have any idea how I can fix this issue.
Choose another data server in the lower right corner (the connection symbol). BDC.01 should work.

Depends where you buy it ;) If you buy any EA in the mql5 market you will only receive a licensed .ex5 file.

I was wondering if or when you are going to test this EA. I tested it the other day and the results were mind-boggling, to say the least. It had an astronomical profit in under a year starting with just $1000 and a leverage of 1:33.
Yeah I also saw these crazy profits. Made me wonder how this is possible :O But I will do some more tests in the next days I think. Maybe I can figure something out :)
@ Also test Aura Black Edition if you haven't already. I tested it with $300, leverage 1:33, 2000.01.01-2022.10.26 (97% history quality) and it was much crazier than Bonnitta - made $460 million like it was nothing.

Now I'm testing an EA from the market on Demo mode and I know almost nothing about coding. I was wondering where I have to place this code.

I did many backtests ofThis EA. My opiniom is that this is the same author who did KOB. The same style of marketing, talking about cracked copies and buying only from him, selling addidional tool (trendlines) when he was selling Kob he offered some stnd deviations indicator. Kob was build on that indi and same this time. Offering an EA what makes millions and the only thing what he spend time is marketing. Manipulated backtests for sure! I did so mamy backtests and meet a lot of problems with. This EA even opens positions in the simmilar way to Kob. This is so obvious scam and like I sad in the past about Kob, dont buy it. Sooner or later it will blow up your account! This guy again trying to sell you a dream not an EA! STAY AWAY from it guys
For less than $5,500 you can take classes to learn to trade like a banker, ie the institutions that move the market to certain targets.
so now a year later how is it looking? what are the real results over time?

I stumbled across this EA last week and started playing around with it.
My conclusion for what its worth:
I was able to make $5million with a starting balance of just $100. With that starting balance of $100, it was able to open multiple trades at once, which is clearly not possible without exceeding margin.
The ridiculous gains also only happened on a few symbols, so for me the backtests are absolutely manipulated.
Thanks for sharing your experiences. This is weird because I do not think that EAs can manipulate the margin requirements in the tester. At least I do not know how this would be possible. But yeah I am also a bit surprised by the constantly crazy profitable testing results.
sounds so tempting, i backtested too and got crazy results as well. Very tempted tp buy and test on live with $500 and keep it running lol
yes the data is being fudged, look ahead code is easy to do as well. curve fit it, then make it look amazing.
Can we definetely conclude that this EA is manipulated? If so, in this case, can we somehow report it to MQL5 and wait some sanctions to this kind of scam?

backtest are great. but at the end of the day, let it known to all men that its just good as simulation, as news, slippages and server execution are not in real time, so its not the basis of a systems profitability. It should be forward tested with real money and thats where the real results can be judge.
But one of your tutorials does the same (i.e. $5000 and more) in one year for as little as $200 deposit?

No I did not try it. Unfortunately there is no demo version so I cannot really try it without buying.
Forex Fury is an outstanding EA I recommend it.

It is just another term for the same thing. Trading robots in MetaTrader are called Expert Advisor (EA).

with regards to prop firms...you know ofcourse that any grid trading strat or martingale will result in your account being suspended and you will not receive a payout...no matter if you were right or not....prop firms do not want this kind of trading and will actively bend their own rules to kick you out, nothing you can do about it because it's all unregulated
I seen now that the EA have a negative Equity , and Positive profit -- will see for the coming days.
The EA is very secretive , will it is good for the seller to keep ot secret so that no one can know how to break the EA.
If the EA is profitable , i think this EA can last longer because of the style of secretive.
No more martingale, no more grids..there is only way how these kind of EAs end up..99% the backtests were optimized and fitted..besides this.. who would sell an algorithm that turns 1000 $ into 3 Millions..

I tested the mt4 version, and it keeps blowing the account. Not worth it.
I checked also this EA and what I did not like, that it opens i.e. buy position right at the strong support zones. Then it ofc encounters a drawdown and opens martingale positions. It holds even 40% drawdowns if it goes the wrong way, but yeah... price always comes back and EA takes profit after couple of days. I would say stay away. No risk management, entries have no sense, big drawdowns... Only 2 pairs supported. History data might be coded to manipulate backtests. Think about, why would you share such an EA if it is so much profitable?
yes i agree better to stay away on this EA its only good on backtest its far from reality if you already inside live trading it lose your life
For strategy tester manipulation:
It is very easy for any programmer to manipulate the historical trading.
I do not like to share that concept to avoid teaching such harmful techniques for coders. The victim will be the new "dreamers"!.
But, to not looking just fool, coder looks at the monthly chart for ONE or TWO and decide for the EA whether it should LONG or SHORT; Using Month() Year() functions. I hope it is clear, at least to you, @ReneBalke
This EA seems to be way too accurate. I wonder if he is getting a data feed of historical data. My test resulted in a $35 Million profit in 4 months. If that is possible, he wouldn't be selling this EA.

@ The backtests seem great and there are multiple signals going past a few months and on different individual ea's in it have live accounts running over a year. There are a couple of free signals on my social signals for prop firm tests saving up to buy a myforexfunds 50,000 test.

If EA makes a ton of trades and shows profit in backtesting it will almost always fail live, just because of slippage and commisions

I like you I like what you do but by over-explaining the program we get lost. Just a hint 80% of us are only concerned with the return and you should spend more time focusing on that. Grade the strategy and more explicit. It is so hard to understand the return with your explanations.

EA's to make millions of dollars..yet.. their developers decide to sell them for 5k or 2k..why not just use them to make money?! this question should come to anyone's mind..and myself being in the MQ market some years now, I tell you they don't last..many came before them with the same promices and then what? vanished!
