    All this electronic "tech stuff" that the new bikes have is truly mind blowing.
    I really don't know anything about it but I should. I ride a 2018 ZX10R which
    has(I'm told) some decent electronic rider aids that I could probably use to
    my advantage. 🤔🤷🏻‍♂
    Really looking forward to seeing your progress on this project.
    Thanks for sharing and keep yourself safe! 😃👍❤🏍
    .....and if I didn't already say it, huge congrats on hitting 1K subs!

      There’s definitely an art to using electronics, I hope to get some experience soon so I can help everyone shortcut the learning curve!

      I understand it might be a little distracting for some, but for others it helps. Hard to keep it perfect for everyone but I’ll do my best to ensure there’s a balance. Thanks for the comment!

    I Know you are in the US, but have you ever heard of RS2E form Germany? Top Notch Software for the S1000RR, they manage the TC via Cuts in the Injection. So you are able to hear the TC Working because the sound of the Engine Changes when the TC is working.

    • @AAron_Rides
      @AAron_Rides  Год назад +1

      I have recently landed on their page! Definitely something I'm interested in and I'll prolly make contact at some point during the off season. Right now I have the HP Calibration and don't want to loose the adjustability from that software. If their system can function in the same way, I'm sold.

      @@AAron_Rides i think with the Race calibration Software (rck) you are on the Same lvl. They will Tell you. There are some good Videos on RUclips where you can hear the TC, i've got one on my Channel too (but i am slow, second year on the Track) 🤙

    sub'd. It would be great to see some race data using the bmw racing rck setup. I have played with rck but no real need to modify the RS2E base for me with TD slicks.

    Hi Aaron,
    Are you saying that the traction control on the bmw s1000 rr 2018 its more refined than other competitors?
    I was looking to purchase a s1000r 2017, Im fascinated by traction control and the differences between the motorcycle brands, and the difference system that they are using. I just watched a comparison where the Bmw 2018 were found more rough and slow and with a older system respect the panigale v4. The testers were saying that with the panigale is easier to do a powerslide on the ducati.
    What do you think about it?
    do you think that the tc on the bmw s1000 r/rr permit you to just open the gas ag any angle and you're safe? as the ducati is..

    • @AAron_Rides
      @AAron_Rides  Год назад

      I think there is so much information out there on this subject. My “opinion” is that the 17/18 BMW has a very good electronics package. But as with all things, soon it becomes outdated. The V4 is a more modern bike and would probably have better controls than the older BMW.

      Do you know if the 2018 s1000rr has the six axis imu?

      @@emanuelechieppa1322 From what I've seen on this bike, yes however it is buried in the DDC computer. So (like my bike) when you remove the DDC, the computer needs to remain so the DTC system still works.

    Great perspective that I also share, it gets annoying listening to these boomers talk about how old bikes are better and you can be faster without aids. Not really trying to down anyone but the same guys also usually bumble around in novice doing parade laps. Anyways I’m a decent A group rider and also love your techy vids.

    • @AAron_Rides

      Thank you Dan, yeah it’s frustrating to here the “no electronics” agreement but if it was true why don’t the top levels of competition stop using them? Seems like there’s an advantage at some point and I’m on a mission to share as much information as I can the help us all learn how to get the most out of our modern machines!

    Electronics definitely will not make you a fast rider. As a matter of fact you must be a decent rider before electronics will even come into play. All electronics will do is help you get the most performance out of your bike that you are capable of getting out of it. It also might keep you from busting your ass every now and then LOL

    • @AAron_Rides
      @AAron_Rides  Год назад

      Yeah that’s my point with this: rider electronic aids are there to complement your skills not do the work for you!
