Just because nothing happened this one time doesn't mean the street is safe.
I will listen to your advice. But I must say where I live in the suburbs of Rome looks worse.
In Nairobi looks like everyone is busy ... No one is bothering you!
This man is just trying to get views
I have lived in Nairobi all my life and have never been robbed
Just listen to the man... My mum is a cop and even she has ever been harassed

I have seen people cross the road to avoid me when in a hoodie. Perhaps you should blend in with the streets to avoid petty thieves.

Point of Correction, Most places in Nairobi are safe in the day, but like many places in the world even for developed countries, caution has to be taken if moving around after nightfall
... it appears like a really busy street or traders avenue,no life threatening situations...
The distance you've walked, why haven't they robbed you or you're one of them?
So when you went through the street recording this alone, what happened to you? You could have said the area is not safe at night.

Speaking as a Kenyan who's traveled alot, but in Kenya, Nairobi is the dirtiest almost filthy. It's corridors are quite wet and dirty even in the dry seasons and with many areas smelling urine.
To the untrained eyes, lots of logistics in the area. There seems to have been a downpour (rain) sometime before this walk.
